  1. :frown: My husband has always known my weight since I was banded, I have been banded since 10/06 and have lost 65lbs but now I have really slowed down and am kind of stuck at the same weight. The problem is now my husband ask me every day "how much more weight have you lost" and it gets really frustraighting specially when I am not losing.
  2. Hi, I am nana and i am knew here. I was reading your stories and my port is also flippped, my doctor has a hard time getting to it so we do it under xray. I asked him if this could cause the band not to work and he said no because he is able to acess the band. Well for the last 5 months I have not been able to loose any weight and I have had 4 fills. But he still insist that he is flling the band. Does anyone have any input on this. Thanks
  3. My doctor told me that if your port is flipped you can still lose weight. Does anyone out their have a flipped port and is it true you can still lose weight like my doctor said. He told me that the port being flipped just makes it harder to fill and that is why i have to have mine done under xray. But I have not lost weight in 51/2 months even with 4 fills.
  4. Hi I am knew at this, I had lapband on September 30th 2008 and I weighed 235 lbs. I was put on a liquid diet before my surgery and lost 20lbs. Since then I have lost 40lbs. For the last 5 months I have not been able to lose anything and I have had 4 fills. My band is flipped and I asked the doctor if that could that have anything to do with me not losing weight and he said no. I do exercise and I do not eat much at all and still cannot lose weight, I also have the larger band on me. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why I may not be losing anymore weight. Thanks
