  1. I had to lose quite a few pounds before I felt mine. I think it was around 20-30 pounds. Now I can really feel it at -50 lbs. Others can also feel it. Keep going you'll get there. Ask your doctor exactly where he put it. The area mine is in has a little bigger scar than the others.
  2. i am also from no ca. i was banded 1/17/08 at first i felt like a failure because i couldnt do it myself. now i am so proud of myself for doing this. it's only been 3 weeks and 23 pounds but i feel sooooo much better and have hope that i can really do this. at least check in to it and see what they have to offer! good luck!
  3. i put my order in to lose from the butt and stomach first. the first thing that went was one full cup size boo hoo but eventually it has to go from the bottom! I can definetely feel for all of you. I am only three weeks out and 23 pounds down:thumbup:
  4. wow if you lost 11 before you will be amazed what will happen over the next two weeks
  5. My insurance covered all needed for surgery and follow up. I am very lucky to have healthnet insurance.
  6. Congrats on your band! My date was 1/17/08. I have been drinking isopure, chicken broth, a little watery pudding, and thinned yogurt according to my doctor. I have been getting in a minimum of 48 oz over 12 or more hours and have not felt dizzy. You should call your dr soon. I think if we can get through the first two weeks life should get really good. Keep up the good spirits, it'll be worth it!:rolleyes2:
