Krysten, Sorry to confuse you. I wasn't sure how long we wanted to let this go so I just put in a date until we had a plan. We decided to let it go through this weekend so it closes tonight. If anyone knows how to do this "Officially" please let me know. I think Southern Missy wants to take the top 3 and repoll. I don't care either way, we ran the poll and will have results. So do we take the winning name from tonight or do we repoll? I am so confused too :sad: I am soooo glad I have you guys to help me out :scared2:

Welcome Amsderb! I am a teacher too! I teach 2nd graders. I was waiting until school was out, but I scheduled and then we had like 7 snow days so now my munchkins are going to have a sub for the last 3 days of school. I feel really bad about that, but there is nothing I can do to change it so we'll all survive. I plan to teach summer school starting on June 2nd, I hope I'm up for it.

Mae, Welcome back! You will do great on the preop. Just remember what you are doing it for. It will be hard but worth it in the end :teeth_smile:. At least it's not a 2 week liquid diet. If you need supportm we're here for ya. Shelly

I feel we have enough posters to make some informal introductions. I would really like to get to know a little more about you all. I am excited to be know as a May bandster. I am Shelly from Missouri. I live near the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks. I'm almost 39 years old with 2 teen age sons and I'm soon to be a Grandma. My DH is wonderful. He is really supportive of my decission although he always says he loves me just the way I am. I am a school teacher and teach 2nd grade. I love each and every child God has put in my path as a teacher. I am hoping from this surgery to gain better health and increased stamina so I am able to keep up with all of them little angles. I am currently 264 pounds and 5'8" tall. My BMI is 40.14 and soon to be falling Praise God! I am self pay so I am heading off to Mexico after almost 2 years of reasearch and a year of saving. The thought of going to a foreign country used to scare me, but I am really at ease with my decission after reading so much and speaking with so many people. This has been a very personal and difficult decission for me as I am sure it has been for all of us. We are worth it.

I'll keep you in my prayers as well.

Cat - I completely know where you are coming from. I have finally reigned myself in a bit. I went back on my no flour no sugar diet during the week and at this point take weekends and holidays off. I thought it would be hard getting back on track on Mondays with taking the weekends off, but so far not the case. I have lost 7 pounds in the last few weeks. Of course this is mostly water, as I always lose a lot of water when I start a new eating plan. Not sure what the next month will bring. I hope to continue to stay in control.

Missy - You will get approved. Don't even think you won't :shades_smile: Positive thinking works Miracles. It is going to be tough to decide on a name with all those choices. I like Success MAYkers, Magnificient Mays, and May Flowers. I like May Flowers because we are going to all bloom into our new bodies starting this May! WOOO HOOO! But I understand the man thing soooooo... May Miracles is also good because it is a miracle I have saved all this money to pay for my procedure. my DH likes Future PlayMAYtes but wished it was something a little more X Rated. He is such a MAN! Have a super day! I am excited, this is my last day of work before SPRING BREAK!!!! One SPECTACULAR WEEK OF NO KIDS!!! Don't get me wrong, I love 'em, but a break is nice too.

I tried to make a logo. I am just trying it on for size as we haven't decided on our title yet. I will try to make one for Marvelous MAY Minimizers, just not sure where to start. Shelly
