hello everyone.....its been forever since i have been here.....hope everyone is doing well. I have pretty much stayed the same on my weight loss....keep gaining and losing the same 5 pounds.....

Don't ever give up dee...you have done so good and after you surgery....you will look fabulous....you look great now. You are very dedicated and should be very proud of how far you have come....keep up the good work.

Hello everyone...its been a long time. How are you dee? Your new picture is beautiful....you look so thin. My weight was stable for awhile and then lost another 5 lbs recently. I still can't believe I am in the 160's. I do wish I could afford a tummy tuck. I would like to be on the new challenge but I lose very slow now. I really need to start exercising again. Been bad about that. I guess I could try for 5 lbs for the Halloween challenge. Congrats to everyone on their continued weight loss.

I will say a prayer for your son and his wife. I hope that Mom and baby will be fine and try to stay positive.

My daughters call me bulimic but I only purge when I am uncomfortable. I try not to overeat but I am very restricted and have a hard time eating slow. If the food goes down good, which I hope it does...then I am fine.

If I may ask, how much of an "unfill" did you get? I am tired of pbing and want a small unfill but I am afraid I will gain weight.

I know exactly how you feel. I am 46 and I have a five year old. I have had people (that I don't know) say I was his Grandma. Even worse, some people have even looked at my teenage daughters and thought one of them was his mom. Now that I have lost some weight, I must look a little younger, because I don't get that anymore. It used to hurt my feelings, but I tell myself that I got the lapband so that I can be healthy and be around for my son.

Dee, put me down for a +1 this week. I am doing terrible lately but I also had Tom last week. I am going to the beach on July 18...so I am going to "kick it up a notch" and really start watching and exercising.

Dee, I haven't had much time to post, but I haven't lost anything anyway. Put me down for a big fat ZERO for both weeks....too many grad parties and no will power.

I flew to Denver and had my surgery with a wonderful surgeon (Dr. Kirshenbaum). He has a huge thread on this site. I did, however, make sure I had a surgeon locally who would do my aftercare. He is wonderful. He also only charges me for an office visit to get my fills and they are only $54.00!! I have had a great lapband experience. I hope you find

Dee, put me down for 6 pounds. I weighed in at 173 today. I can't believe how much weight I have lost. I have people who I haven't seen in awhile who almost didn't recognize me. This is the smallest I have been in 25 years. I went shopping today with my daughter and I a am wearing a regular x-large and size 14 pants. I think I could fit in a size smaller but my "extra skin" is getting in the way. It looks horrible. Especially my legs. My skin is hanging and wrinkly. How I wish that I could get it taken care of. Anyone know of a plastic surgeon who gives special pricing on self-pay. I wish I could find a "Dr. K" of plastic surgery.

Dee, I definitely want to do another challenge. I will weigh in on Saturday.
