I'm using Dr Woodman too. I turned my paperwork on March 15th. They said the following Friday they will submit. ( it takes them about a week to go through and make sure they have everything together) They actually turned it in a day earlier and I had a answer the following Tuesday. I have had my blood, EKG, Abdominal Ultrasound and this Friday I'll have the EGD. Then the week of the 18th of April I have an appointment with the surgeon for a 3 hrs class and then that day I will get a surgery date. Approximately mid May , end of May. Well the first month is your initial weigh, so my insurance doesn't count that one. I only needed 3 however your total should be 4 weigh ins. So if you have to do 6 months I would guess you need 1 more. 6 months is 7, bc you weigh the first time and future weigh ins show your loss. I called my insurance and was approved yesterday. Of course Dr. Woodmans office will have to get a hard copy of the Auth before they will schedule anymore appts like labs and a scope.
