Insurance Question

I've been following this site for several months, but just registered today! Anyway, I remember reading that someone was told the day of the surgery that their insurance would no longer cover it. If I remember correctly, it was because they dropped too much weight pre-op. Am I remembering this correctly?

I guess I'm nervous because right now I weigh 227 and my nut told me not to go below 221. I feel like I'm going to drop below that number during my 2 week liquid diet and I would be devastated if I found out I'm no longer covered. Has that happened to anyone else?
