  5. I agree go on the cruise! Enjoy some time with your family before you have your surgery. There is no way of telling how you will feel after surgery.
  6. Same here! I can tell you when the last time was that I wore shorts or a bathing suit. Also go swimming with my kiddos they were always begging for me to get in the pool with them so now I can!

  8. If you didnt have these thoughts then I'd say you weren't normal lol!!! I cried the day I had to start my liquid diet and ended up starting it two days later so I could binge! I will tell u this I was also told no guzzling fluids but when I went to my follow up the Dr actually asked if I had. I said accidentally I did it and was scared after I did it. He asked me me how it felt and I said fine. He said if u can tolerate it go for it but try not to make it a everytime habit! Also you will be able to jave thing you love down the road! I have a few friends who have had this surgery a few years ago and they do enjoy having a beer they do enjoy having a favorite food from time to time! Its just a matter of control! You can do this! I did this for a few different reasons : i wanted to be around for my kids and future grandkids! I wanted to be able to go out and play with my kids without running out of breath. My knee I had surgery on about 4 yrs ago was killing me. I didn't want a full knee replacement at 32!! Btw I have lost 25lbs already and my knee feels great! Also I didnt want health issues and I knew if I stayed on this path I was on I would! So again if u arent feeling scared and you arent questioning yourself u are not normal!!! I hope it all works out for you!
  9. Wow a lot of people had to work to have this done! I went to their website and did some research. They required u watched a presentation on their web page and take the test after. I called and made my appointment to meet the surgeon. After that I had to meet with a nutritionist get an ok with my pcp do some blood work and journal my god intake for a few weeks. Complete my psych veal and attend my liver reduction class. That was all. It took me a year because getting in all my stuff and offices were scheduling out farther than usual.

  11. The paper I had to sign for my surgery stated that I wouldn't plan on getting pregnant for 18 months. That was his General thought for everyone that had surgery
  12. I would definitely talk to your surgeon. When I met my surgeon he mentioned that if they go in amd find that the gallbladder is in bad shape they would be taking that out as well.
