  3. Water slides right through your pouch very quickly and will not stretch out your pouch. I've been able to drink large amounts of water since I had surgery and my doctor said that everyone is different with the amounts they can drink.

  12. I had my surgery yesterday morning and I was released at 715 last night, as I was already up and walking and not on any pain meds. I was also able to keep my liquid intake up. I had some broth and was able to keep that down as well. I don't have anymore has pain as of today. I was burping after every sip of Water last night so I'm pretty sure that had something to do with it. My larger incision is quite sore when I move but other than that I feel good. 13. Walking definitely helps with the gas, I also noticed when I would take a small sip of Water I would burp which helped as well. As of this morning all my gas pain in gone. My largest incision is a lot more tender today than yesterday. And I have decided taking crushed Vitamins is really nasty, but so far I've been able to keep everything down. I also slept almost all night, with a few exceptions of having to use the restroom. Sent from my SM-N900T using the BariatricPal App
  14. I hope all goes well and you have no leaks. Sent from my SM-N900T using the BariatricPal App
  15. My surgery went well. No complications, I've been able to sip about 10 oz of Water in about 3 and a half hours. I haven't taken any oral pain med since being moved to a room. I've been burping like crazy though. I might actually be able to go home. Sent from my SM-N900T using the BariatricPal App

  21. You can start losing weight prior to meeting with your surgeon to find out how much he wants you to lose since they will use your highest recorded weight. Starting early will make it so things move faster and you don't get stuck having to wait for any appointments because you haven't met your goal weight. 22. I love the program. It really gives you the know how before and after surgery. If you have questions just ask. They are there to help you. I have Dr. Grinberg. If you stick to the 1200 calorie pre op diet that they provide you with and get in the recommended exercise, the weight will drop off in no time. Sent from my SM-N900T using the BariatricPal App
  23. I am currently in the Bariatric Program at Kaiser South Sac. I have my surgery scheduled for February 29th. Sent from my SM-N900T using the BariatricPal App
  24. I decided to let them know. I called their office and they let the surgeon know and he called me back and said that it was fine and wouldn't delay surgery, I was just advised to not take any NSAIDs, since I am pretty close to surgery day.
  25. thank you. I feel much better. I didn't want to say anything because I can walk fine just a slight limp, and donny want to risk getting surgery pushed out any farther. I think I'll keep this little secret. ????
