I am home. The drastic difference in pain I had the past two days is crazy! I'm finally passing gas. I think I did pretty good with getting fluids in. Not 64 Oz though. I'm definitely gonna try harder tomorrow. But I am definitely still very weak. How people go to work like a week after surgery beats me. I'm taking 5 weeks off. I am scheduled for surgery on February 29th at 7 am!! After 8 months of doctor appointments and dealing with insurance I finally have everything set. I have all of my pre op scheduled for next monday! And I start my 10 day pre op diet in 2 days! I'm ecstatic. How long total did it take you to get an answer? My surgeon apparently submitted Wednesday of last week, and I haven't heard anything yet. I sent an email through BCBS fep website minds to see if they even received it. Still no answer. If I wanted to call would I just call the customer service number or what? I'm so impatient and I want this surgery before the end of the year since I have paid my deductible, but I am cutting it so close!! *monday not minds

So I am very new here and I will give some background information. I'm 21, my HW:301 my CW: 275 I'm 5' 9. I started this journey back in August. I'm actually going to my last appointment tomorrow (psych evaluation) before I will have all paperwork completed to be submitted for insurance. I have bcbs fep. My fertility doctor recommended the sleeve after a long history of irregularity and no success after medicated cycles. After deciding to Go ahead with it I am so excited! And I hope I get approved! (That is my only worry! One of my requirements is to be considered morbidly obese for 2 years (40+ bmi). In January of 2014 I had a weight recorded 274, which put me right at a 39.9 bmi, no co morbidy. So that is the only thing I'm concerned about. Also, any advice for what I should do to prepare for psych evaluation? I am very nervous! Also, would it be safe to go ahead and submit images as well to insurance for back up?
