  1. Good for you!!!! Ya! I have also reached one of my goals! Keep up the good work:thumbup:
  2. Before my fill I could eat anything I wanted. I felt no restriction. My fill was quite large and he put 4.5cc in a 10cc band and I can hardly eat without a PB. I have to really retrain myself to eat right. I find it really hard but I have been loosing quickly.
  3. It is the soy! It's a soy BEAN!!! It was killing me. Between the milk and soy I was having so much pain. I bought a thing of beano and on the back it said it worked for the side effects of soy. Then I quit the soy and it when away completely.
  4. Count me in... I think this is a great idea.. I will start tonight..
  5. I will try to eat mostly liquid and soft food tomarrow and see if it happens again. And the pain is mostly on the left side and in my neck. Also, it seems to goes away when I can drink alot of water.
  6. I had my band done 5 weeks ago and I got my first fill done last week. Everything was fine after and I can keep food down and everything. The only problem is everytime I eat for the last 3 days I feel the pain in my shoulder (like gas pains) and then I feel sick to my stomach. It makes me burp alot and it lasts like 3-4 hours and finally goes away and then I eat again and it comes back.. I take nexium and gas-x and tums. I don't know why it keeps happening? Any ideas???
  7. I just got my first fill in an aps 10cc band and he put 41/2 cc. It seems to be fine but it kinda hurts to eat and drink but i'm not sure if i will feel full yet. My next appointment is in 2 months so I hope it's good:rolleyes:
  8. I got my first fill today! I got 4 and a half cc's and my ap small 10cc band. He said it was alot for the first fill so I hope I do ok. It didn't hurt at all. I guess i numbed well because that needle was huge!!!! I do feel a lot of gas pains now that I ate. I hope it goes away:thumbdown:.
  9. I was told not to do core exersizes for two months after the surgery. I'm am scared also because of the port site.
  10. I dont have any body shots but this is me in Hawaii last year.
  11. I am new on here but I just wanted to say that I ran on the treadmill for the first time ever today!
  12. My first week I was on about 400-600 cal the second week I didn't want to go over 1000 but my doctor told me to stay at 1300. I looked it up on the internet and it said for lapband surgery to stay at 800-1300. I am not sure. I am just trying to stay under 1300. The calories add up so fast that I have been counting every one. I have seen a lot of people on here that complain that they don't loose much weight but I think the liquid and mushies can add up quick, so keep track...
  13. I am the same way as a lot of you I get really hungry and I wonder if there is a band really in there. But then the one day a had to much of the wrong thing I sure didn't feel well. I guess it will take us time to get used to this new tool we have.
  14. I'm am not sure how to add my name to the list but my date was Jan 11 2008
  15. I have been wondering the same thing. I am always starving..I go to bed early because I don't want to sit there while my stomach is growling.
