  1. Banded on the 20th, doing great no nausea, only pain is in my left shoulder and neck. Stayed over night in hospital, they gave nausea meds around the clock, for prevention, I felt it was worth it no to be nauseated. Very little pain and down over 10 lbs.. Made veg/beef soup yesterday, tired on canned soup it was great.
  2. I start my new way of life on May 20. I can hardly wait.
  3. I finally got approved, I get my band on May 20. I can hardly wait. Seems like it has taken for ever to get approval.
  4. Hello everyone! I live in Magnolia, KY, it is about 45 min from Elizabethtown. I am hoping to be banded next month. I am in the process of getting all my pre-op visits done (psy, pt, nutritionist). I am having my band done by Dr. Kaza in E-town. I am married, have 1 sone, 6 cats and a dog.
  5. Looking at surgery in April (woo who), Have PT and psy consult and see nutritionist all this month. and have to lose 10 more lbs by the end of March. Slow but sure.
  6. Went for my second visit on Thursday, good news looking at surgery in April, have pt visit and psy consult and to see nutrusionist all this month and to lose 10 more lbs. April will be here before you know it. Carla
  7. Hoping for surgery in April maybe sooner. I have to do a 3 month supervised diet per dr's office. (ins waived it) Waiting is so hard to do. You all are doing so good.
  8. Talked to Surgeon's office today, They are still requiring me to do a for 3 months even though my insurance would probably waive it. So frustrating:angry:. They want to know you are comitted to doing this. I wounldn't be going to all this trouble if I wasnt committed.
  9. Well I went for my first appointment. They told me I would have to be on a diet for 3-6 months and to come in a weigh every 2 weeks, but then I talked to my case manger at my insurance company and if I can get her documentation from when I went to ww and curves and a report from the physical therapist (major problems with my rt foot and ankle). Get my psy eval and nutristionist eval. I could possibly be approved before the end of the month. She said after she gets the paper work it only takes about 2 days to be approved. so keep your fingers crossed. I am a Title Abstractor for real estate. I go to about 10 different counties. I do a lot of driving.
