I found the outfit I'm wearing in the picture below..I was so excited when I pulled the jean jacket off the rack thinking it's not going to fit...it's an XL.....omg! It actually fits me!! ???? ....I started my journey at 324lbs...SW was 295...CW is 227 ....one of the things on my bucket list is to hike in the Rockies with my son next month...He is so excited that I am going to attempt this with him ???????? I'm moving onward and downward with the new me....I cannot wait to see 199 on that scale!!!
  8. I tend to stay away from lettuce....it really doesn't have much nutritional value and I'd rather not waste tummy space with it...lol
  9. I have been fighting something similar to this for a yr and a half...Baxter's-itis.....my Dr gave me a script for custom inserts but recommended not getting them until I have lost most of my weight....I also bought some shoes that a lot of Nurses wear and they are so comfy and cute...Alegria

  19. I'm closing in on 100 lbs lost and I still see me at 325 lbs...I'm actually 230 lbs at the moment....That's a lot of weight lost but when I look in the mirror I just don't see it! [emoji35][emoji107]????
  20. Lol....patience is the key on this journey! I just wish I could turn off those thoughts for one day [emoji3][emoji106]. Onward and downward!!
  21. I'm sitting here thinking...will there ever come a time in my life that I am not obsessed with losing weight? A day that I don't think about being thin? A day I don't wish the weight would come off faster? A day I don't question if I'm doing something wrong because I'm not losing as fast as I think I should be? A day I can walk into any clothing store and pick something off the rack that actually fits and looks nice? Just thinking......[emoji51]
  22. Plates....it's a learning process...just be sure to read your manual thoroughly and contact your nutritionist or Drs office if you aren't sure about something...Good luck and hope you feel better physically and mentally soon [emoji3][emoji106]
  23. Djmohr.....my Nut recommends 3/4 to 1 cup of food at this point...3oz of lean protein plus .25 cup veggie and .25 cup fruit or potato....as with most plans , suppose to eat in the order of protein, veggie, fruit, whole grain. Thank you for the advice! At least I do know that it is considerably less then I could eat prior to surgery! [emoji3][emoji106]. I will bring up my concern with both my Dr and Nut in a couple weeks....I just don't want to mess this up!
