  1. Thank you! I'm in no hurry for an endoscopy. I'll see how things go for a few days first....hoping the stool softener does the job [emoji16][emoji106] The pain can be very intense that's for sure!
  2. Hi I'm 14 month PO gastric bypass . About a week ago I started having intense sharp pain in my lower left abdomen and then a couple days later in my upper left abdomen also. It seems to happen after I eat and/or drink and not every time ...The pain can last for up to an hour....CT scan was normal. I have no other symptoms such as fever, vomiting, diarrhea etc. I feel fine other then those occasional sharp pains here and there. Next step is endoscopy but I'm holding off for a bit to see if the miralax and stool softener helps. Just curious if anyone else has had this? Thanks!
  3. I'm 14 months post op and my weightloss has slowed tremendously since DECEMBER ....I've lost a total of 9 lbs since then....I still have 40 lbs to go to get to my ideal weight ....I want to at least get to 180.....at 196 ATM [emoji1304][emoji1304]. Not sure what to do to shake it loose...lol
  4. Thanks everyone [emoji16][emoji106]
  5. I am 13 months out ...I try to at least get 75g of protein a day...my calories usually average around 1300...some days a little less some a little more....I don't eat bread and stay away from breaded fried food. My breakfast is always a premier protein shake. I just recently joined a gym about a month ago...I walked quite a bit last summer but didn't do a whole lot this past winter [emoji1304]
  6. I started my journey in Oct 2015 at 324lbs and as of today I'm 197! I'm happier then I've ever been...I'd like to lose another 25-30lbs but if I don't I'm ok with that!
  7. Linda Irene.....I haven't seen the no surgery ...is it the pouch reset people talk about? Going back to the basics of the first few weeks of surgery? If so it can't hurt to give it a try! I'm finding the carb monster creeping up on me lately and have to knock him out before I start to gain...I'm 13 months post op and having a hard time dropping weight now [emoji1304]
  8. Thanks for the reply! I did finally break out of the 200's and now teeter between 198-200...I'd still like to lose another 25-30 lbs but it's not looking like that's going to happen [emoji1304] Regardless I'm a much happier person now then I was at 324lbs! [emoji16][emoji106]
  9. I hit Kohls clearance with my % off usually had a 30% off....I got a lot of items that were under $10 each [emoji16][emoji106]

  11. I'm one year post op as of 2-17-17..... I have been teetering between 201-204 for well over a month.....My Dr said it's my body's metabolism catching up and that it will start coming off again as long as I keep doing what I'm suppose to be doing. I'm just so desperate to see 199 on that scale!! She was very pleased with my progress thus far so that's a good thing [emoji16][emoji106]...Hubby and I are going to check out some gyms tomorrow....it's time to do something other then walking [emoji106]

  14. I had my one year post op gastric bypass appointment today! My labs were great, my blood pressure was fantastic ( no more meds for that) I've lost 122 lbs and feel fantastic! The only regret I have is that I didn't do it sooner instead of at 48 yrs old! [emoji12][emoji106]
  15. I second the chapstick and biotene [emoji16][emoji106] Everyone is different. I never touched my iPad or phone and I couldn't change into my pjs because I was hooked up to the IV machine until the morning I was released [emoji107]????
