  1. I'm sorry this will be painful, but it'll be worth it. As most painful things tend to be. Keep us posted. Best of luck!
  2. Smye the actress pulled a disappearing act on you, correct? Then after a time, she came up and said, let's just be friends. As you've posted before, you're looking for more of a relationship than a friendship. Also, you're sexually attracted to her (I assume), so you, yourself aren't necessarily going out just to hang out with a buddy. More than likely, your hopes are that she'll decide after a time, to take you into consideration. If she wanted to take a leap into dating you, she'd have kept dating you from the get-go. Or at very least kept in contact with you. Women who put off a man aren't interested in that man. Therefore my assumption is that she's using your attraction to gain attention that she's lacking from men recently, in order to boost her confidence. Not that she's changing her mind and wants to date you seriously. I don't mean to sound harsh, and I know you've been through a lot. So, I hate to notice something and not make mention of it. I don't want you looking at this situation with the actress through rose colored glasses. From a bystander point of view, I'd be very wary of her intentions. Also, I think your time would be better spent on meeting women who don't blow you off. As far as meeting women who want to rip your clothes off, and tantalize your brain - it's going to be hard. There aren't many people who make good matches or are on the same level as you will be. Hence, the moving on to the next woman, and the next, until you find a better match that's as interested in you, as you are her. It will happen. But you can't spend your time with the wrong woman, if you're looking to meet the right woman. Sorry for the long, possibly unwanted, post. Lol.
  3. I overreact to my angry feelings all too often. I, personally, love to text out exactly what I feel inside, and just send that right on over to myself. It gets it all out and it's faster than writing on paper. I'm very private so I don't like to share my anger with outsiders, and this is the perfect way to get it out, and once it's out...i start to get myself back together mentally, and move on. These are great suggestions.
  4. I'm SO sorry. That's very disappointing. I was late to one of my nutrition classes by 10 minutes and they wouldn't allow me to go in. I had to wait a whole month longer to sign up and take it again, which meant I couldn't have surgery for another month. I was devastated and cried my eyes out, and was very mad at my husband (he was late getting home and we only have one car- hence why I was late to this mandatory appointment). I got over it pretty quickly, and I had my surgery in December 2015. I'm down over 50 pounds and I'm feeling great. I know how hard these set backs can be, but they're only set backs. You're still going to have surgery, so thank God for that!
  5. I'm not pregnant, but I do have two little girls 1 & 2 years old. I'm very excited for you and your pregnancy. Congratulations!!! Is this your first? Once your kiddo starts crawling you'll be on your feet all day long chasing after (her or him) the baby. Eating can be tough. Have you been feeling hungrier more often? Before I got pregnant the first time I had lost almost 90 pounds from diet and exercise, then I gained 60 in my pregnancy. She was born, got pregnant again and gained another 15 pounds. So, after it was all said and done I was almost back up to my highest weight. Luckily for you, you had surgery before. So, you're sure to not gain like I did. Just take your prenatals and stay on track with your food. People will encourage you to eat "for two" and it's not really necessary because your little person is SO small you don't need to eat so much more, like I did. Keep us posted on the sex, and enjoy every moment
  6. Don't stay anywhere too long with someone who can't even take care of her own issues. As far as the actress goes, she's told you she's not interested in the long run. She disappeared, and now she's back to using you in order to regain her confidence (most likely after someone broke up with her). I, myself, am guilty of that in the past. String along a man that's interested so you can feel good about yourself, even though he's not what you want and know it. There are PLENTY of fish in the sea, and it's time to go fishing again. Stop looking at the old fish in the freezer you already caught. Dating shouldn't be so serious. It should be fun, and exciting. So if you're over the woman who clearly needs you more than you want her... Find someone who's fun and wants to rip your clothes off!
  7. I'm so sorry you're going through this rough time Emotional pain is the worst kind of pain, but after this is over, you'll be so open and free to just take care of yourself and do exactly what will make you happy.
  8. How far away are you from 40 BMI? I'm just saying if you had to gain a few to qualify it wouldn't be so bad...
  9. I had that happen to me too. Took me more than a week! Then it happened and I went back up the next day. It's annoying! Lol
  10. I'm glad you figured out the stool situation. Before my surgery I read all these things about people being up and feeling fine after surgery and things. I didn't have the same experience. I felt like crap, sore, in pain, irritable, tired, all of it for about 6 weeks after my surgery. I wasn't up and walking until day 3 in the hospital. I didn't have any complications either. People heal at different rates, and I was one of the slow healers. Even though I regretted surgery for that time, I got through it and now I would not change one miserable moment and I feel SO much better! Hang in there, you'll wake up one day and not be sore- and you'll feel great.
  11. Yea, before I had the iud I only bled for 3 days a month, so basically having a period every day of the month was out of the question.
  12. I had an iud paraguard put in. The procedure was uncomfortable but not horrible. Afterwards, however, I bled for about 20 days out of the month. I thought it would pass, but it didn't. I kept it in for about 4-5 months before finally getting it removed. I think I'd rather go with any other form of bc after that. Lol. My situation was unique I think, but it's my experience. No permanent harm was done thankfully.
  13. I really relate to how you were feeling post-op. I felt absolutely horrible for about 4 weeks myself. I wasn't walking after surgery until the 3rd day in the hospital except to get up to go to the bathroom. I was in there 5 days total, and I didn't have any complications at all. Now, I'm almost 3 months out and I feel amazing and would do every single miserable moment again. You look fantastic! You're doing a great job. I can really see a difference.
  14. That was a good article. I remember bmi and weight testing in school. The entire day afterwards was filled with girls talking about how perfect they were or weren't. I remember a girl talking about her thigh gap and saying her legs were perfect and mine were fat. I wasn't fat at the time, but I sure felt like I was from then on.
  15. You should call your doctor. Maybe you can't handle the pill form yet. When I was discharged I got liquid pain meds.
  16. You look fantastic!! Great job! Your hard work is paying off!
  17. I'd recommend just measuring out your food. Then after a couple of months you'll be able to eyeball it.
  18. I said it once, and I'll say it again - there will ALWAYS be someone prettier than me, funnier than me, thinner than me, and fatter than me - but my husband married ME. Does my husband think, the more of her the merrier? Yes. But there will be nobody else who is me, and that is why I know he still loves me. He didn't marry me because I'm physical perfection (lord knows), or because I'm always so sweet (I've got good days and bad), he married me because we have the same drive, we can tolerate each other when we're out of line, we accept each other's imperfections, and we work daily to make things work. You're married, so I know there's been other things in your time that have come up, and you've worked through. This is another one of those things. So what you're not his physical idealness? We're there not other women he looked at on the planet and thought they were pretty (before surgery)? I'm sure there were, and they will exist after surgery as well. But no other woman will ever be YOU, so unless he's told you he doesn't love you, believe that he does love you... No matter your size. I told my husband it's helpful if he lies to me and tells me how wonderful I look, lol. He laughed, and he said "but YOU are wonderful". I'm sure your husband thinks you're wonderful too.
  19. Why don't you just cancel your Kaiser insurance? No need to double up. Especially since TriCare is great and easy to work with in my opinion.
  20. I never noticed anyone treating me differently. In the past I haven't received any criticism on my weight, and now I don't either. There was only one time I was at a store and the store clerk asked me if what I was carrying was a diabetes bag, I said no it's a makeup bag and I carry my wallet in it. Then later, when I thought about it more, I thought he must've said that bc I was fat. I don't know that for a fact though because he was very nice while checking me out of his land and making (positive) comments on my purchases. How I feel about myself, however, has changed a great deal. I do feel better about myself, and that's a sure thing.
