glorious morning to yall! i'm extra crunk today lol...it's my birthday! :) AAAND i was right about my Water retention...i dropped back down to 160 by wednesday, and as a happy birthday to me, this morning my scale shouted 157! hallelujer!

Yes! I pick up a dress in my size and look at it and think there is no way I can squeeze into that! And then I step in and do up the zip with ease. So surreal.

The pants you are buying look to SMALL. So you go out to the car & pull down your pants to see what size you are wearing. The are the same size.

When you don't have to turn sideways through turnstiles anymore...

I used my whirlpool tub last night for the first time since loosing weight. I couldn't believe how much bigger it felt. Felt more like a swimming pool.

When you find the chairs at your parents house have grown since you last sat in them.....and their dogs have room to join you....

When you return home to your own home and your own dogs have room to join you in your char that's grown some, too....

Furniture everywhere seems to be getting bigger and bigger. Strange phenomenon. Strange but cool.
I like strange.

I know, it's frustrating hey?
My parents usually take trips to minot a few times a year, but with the Canadian dollar being so lousy lately, they haven't gone in over a year.
So I'm pretty happy they're going this week!

the HEALTHY WEIGHT RANGE

Avoiding diet soft drinks is not part of my Surgeon/NUT's plan. The only thing mentioned is to take it slow as it can cause some people discomfort.
And totally contradictory to what others have posted that their surgeon recommends, the book I was given to follow, The gastric sleeve guide (Australian publication), recommends using a straw to reduce contact with your teeth as the acid can damage them.
Diet energy drinks are recommended to only be used in moderation as the high caffeine may increase your heart rate and blood pressure.

went to subway ordered a scoop of tuna salad, no bread, no veggies. they were very nice about it and it was pretty cheap. I usually look at appetizers or Soups when I got to restaurants. If I have a friend with me we order one meal and split it.

Pasta with meat sauce - hold the pasta

Probably my strangest order so far was (Panera) half a Roasted Turkey and Avocado BLT with no bread, no mayo, no lettuce, no Tomato and no side. Just the Turkey, Bacon and Avocado on a plate, please.
I did order a (Taco Bell) steak soft taco fresco style with no lettuce, but I was too chicken to order it without the tortilla.

I went to a sushi restaurant and I ordered a California roll with no rice. I had to explain like a dozen times. I eventually just said I was allergic to rice and just needed seaweeds wrapped veggies and crab meat. LOL

Clear vegetable broth! Asked for a big bowl, it cost $8 bucks..... but, it was a cold day and it did the trick....

--like ordering wonton Soup with no wontons? That usually leads to a great deal of foreign language exchange.

Looking at all off you you all looks great I don't know y'all but all of you gives me hope and I am really excited to get my surgery. Keep up the amazing work
