Uh ... post-op you don't drink with meals.
In restaurants I just order Water and then don't drink it.

I think she is projecting her own fears onto you.
Or as I have seen in a few clients of mine, people may lose the weight but there is still an insecure fat girl inside and that's how she is expressing it.
Just some thoughts based on the 3 sentences provided lol.

I'm having a food funeral right now. Me and my co worker always go to Wendy's on the third Tuesday of the Month for lunch. Right now I'm mourning the loss of Wendy's chicken Nuggets and Frosty. But actually since I've been doing the pre-pre-op diet this is not as tasty as I remember. :-/ I'm probably not even going to eat it all. Especially not the fries. Meeeh.

My surgery is a go for this Thursday! I hope your labs get straightened out; best of luck!

I too am concerned about growth hormones in meat and dairy. I am not obsessive about it but I try to read labels and buy local and/organic whenever possible. Fortunately, I live in central Kentucky and we have a wealth of local food producers.

I wouldn't worry, I'm sure they have seen worse. In Colorado it's legal!!

Maybe they fed you pot brownies! My roomate in college thought it would be hysterical to not tell me she had made pot roast..literally seasoned our meat dinner with pot. I had never used any form of drugs, so not only did I end up sick, I was paranoid about testing positive for it forever.

I'm on tramadol and it can give a false positive; just let them know what meds you're on and ask for a redo if they have issues; (as for postponing... my potassium was low and they might reschedule mine; I find out Tuesday (and surgery is supposed to be 9/24; there redoing blood tomorrow (Monday) but the results might not be back n time for my hospital pre-op appt Tuesday. if they need to redo your labs and reschedule, don't worry. Depending on what you tested positive for I could tell you what OTC drugs could cause a false positive.

Are you taking an appetite suppressant? Unfortunately, I went through this with a job because the dr didn't tell me that would happen. They cleared it up quickly and I was able to start. I called friends crying and they all laughed because I was a "goody good". Well, even one hung up on me telling me to stop lying. So, there could be a valid reason.

As an RN I just learned that several medications can cause a positive THC result, including but not limited to Protonix and NSAIDS.

Drugs that can cause a false positive for THC: ibuprofen, naproxen, tolmetin, efavirenz, pantoprazole, dranabinol.

If you made your own cole slaw, it would be fine, but all the commercial stuff and mixes have sugar in them.
I haven't tried this one but it looks decent. I would add a little stevia for sweetness.

Walden Farms has a Cole Slaw dressing. I saw it tonight at the grocery store.

Whoa, hold on. Depending on what came up, it could have been something you ate or absorbed in the skin. Poppy seed muffins can make you test positive for opiates, for example. I wouldn't worry though. It could be a false positive or a simple mistake.
