  1. Oh you know. Hanging in there. Trying to get some sleep. Lol. You?
  2. There's a website called Vinted too. I use thredup right now though.
  3. I feel the same. Last time I was at the doctors I was the smallest in the waiting room. I walk with a cane due to severe back injury and I did get some nasty looks. 2 people were in hover round things. I just shrugged it off. I'm not there for them, I'm there for me.
  4. I didn't have a supervised diet but my surgeon wanted 4 ounces of Protein every 3 hours. That lasted like 9 days for me lol. I had mix in other things besides just 4 ounces of chicken breast or turkey lol. I started tracking my food on my fitness pal and focusing on protein first, drinking my Water and walking. Doing that I was able to lose 12 lbs in 3 months. But I gained some of it back because I'm undisciplined and like food.
  5. What should my macros be in my fitness pal? Is upgrading to premium worth it? Thanks.
  6. I have this nightmare where I do my liquid diet perfectly and my liver is still too big to proceed with surgery and I have to do another 2 weeks of liquid diet. :-/
  7. I wanted this to work soooooo bad lol. But no, the red light does not have UV rays. I can't do tanning beds, if I go in for even a minute I roast lol.
  8. Looooool. I saw the alert that you posted this on my inbox. I read your name was skeevy!!! Looool. Anyway. I didn't know when they sent it to insurance so I don't know how long it took. I know I was approved March 15th but I think they sent it a few days before. I have anthem.
  9. They don't have a goal weight for me. I just want to be on the high end of normal or low end of overweight so about 150 lbs for me.
  10. Every doctor I have (and I have a lot that see me on a regular basis) is on board with my WLS and excited for me!! I don't think I needed a referral. I just called and attended a seminar and the ball got rolling. Unless they got something from my PCP later, I don't know.
  11. I made a popcicle!!
  12. I just made a popcicle with Trusource protein water. I like it!!
  13. I've met my surgeon twice.
  14. No mention yet from my surgeon but I've been through so many surgeries I just don't wear any.
  15. Your nail beds need to be visible so staff can see if you're having problems such as cianosis.

  17. Its not loud at all, unless my mask leaks. Just the mask, its so cumbersome on my face and it irritates my skin and is causing red bumps. I know, I know, I'm being a whiny brat when this nice medical device that my insurance paid for is supposed to help me breathe. You need to breathe to live, ya know.
  18. Aww jeeze. I can't really sleep because of my c pap some times.
  19. I mean, the job can't ask why you're taking off work. Just say medical reason, that's all they need to know. I don't even know if you have to say medical reason.
  20. The more hair/less follicle thing is true I hear. I hear I'm in for a rude awakening in... other... areas..... yeeah. Sorry for barging in!!
  21. Oh no!! You'll be fine!! I'm the queen of surgery!! I've had 8 surgeries in just a few years and it is scary but it's useless to worry about. You need rest so the surgery will go great and you'll be better soon!! Good luck!!
  22. I understand completely. I have 2 aunts like that lol. Ps do you ever sleep?
