  1. Time is crawling here!!! Lol
  2. I understand. I didn't have a kidney stone but I have kidney problems and I was in the hospital for a bad kidney infection and gained 15 lbs in 3 days. I was sooooo swollen I couldn't even wear shoes. Doctors said it was water retention. Took some diuretics and cleared right up.
  3. I have tried at least 10 different brands of Proteins bars. Premier Protein, pure protein, etc. I must say Quest bars are the best. They keep me full for hours!
  4. I had other health problems that prevented me from getting it in November. I figured I'd be ok with some t shirts and 2 pairs of jeans for the summer. I'm going to pack up my winter sweaters and fleece pajamas and then I get surgery give them away.
  5. I have something I found at Kroger. I've only tried the citrus.
  6. I'm just so ready to get rid of all these clothes and get new, smaller ones. Last year I thought I'd be having WLS in November and got rid of most of my summer clothes but I'm not having until May 10th so that was a big oopsie lol.
  7. I've had my sleep machine for about 3 weeks. It is still really hard to sleep. I always get wrapped up in the hose. Sometimes I have to change to a different mask in the middle of the night because it hurts. I'm starting to get acne where the mask is on my face even though I always clean it and use acne wash and astringent on my face. But surgery is May 10th. I can hold out.
  8. I didn't have to cut out caffeine however, my NUT told me it's an appetite stimulant and it would be wise to limit or stop using caffeine.
  9. Good God caffeine withdrawal was worse than quitting smoking for me. But I did it. I stopped all soda and sugary drinks. I'll have a half caff sugar free coffee every now and then but I'm cutting that out soon too. My surgery is May 10th!
  10. I probably go back and forth at least 5 times a day since I got my surgery date. It's May 10th and I'll probably go back and forth another 5000 times before I just do it. It's the waiting and anxiety that makes it worse. My main thing is the permanency which is the reason I chose the sleeve in the first place lol. That's about 60% of my anxiety. It's scary. It's a major life adjustment. Probably more than marriage. That's how I feel anyway. About 10% is surgery complications. About 10% is fear of failure About 10% is never eating (fill in the blank) again And the last 10% is the effect it will have on my relationships with my friends, husband, new people I meet, my family and what they think of me.
  11. I like the genie bra. It lasts through several band and cup sizes.
  12. My last holiday too!! My surgery is May 10th. I tried not to gorge myself. I've been on a diet for 5 months so I had a few bites of everything. Even some brownie. I got such a bad head ache as I have cut out most sugar.
  13. Woot!!!! May 10th. Ohio here. I'm excited!!
  14. I think sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. You know? Caffeine is just an appetite stimulant is what my surgeon and nut told me. I can have it, but I "was warned" lol.
  15. Do you go home with the drain?
  16. She seems maybe jealous of her surgery that was not a success.
  17. Molly do you use anything in particular to help keep your drinks and protein shakes cold thought the day?
  18. My pain management doctor wants me to eat Paleo lol.
