I am also have surgery on that date. I start my liquid diet tomorrow. But I am not allowed food at all only liquids. I work days so I run around like a nut so I know the food won't bother me. But I just hope I can get 1200 calories in a day. Good luck where are you from. I'm in New York.

I have surgery in 13 days and I am also a single mom of three children. I plan on doing the same thing. And for the hospital stay I have to spend two nights. I didn't think of a overnight bag yet.

Yes there are a lot of people I know that are switching. I just cannot wait to start losing the weight and keeping it off!!

I finally received the phone call today. October 12 I will be having my band removed and then the sleeve. My last meal will be tonight. I am so happy I can not wait!!!!

I'm 5 foot even and just waiting for the approval from the Insuance and than my date so some time in October or November I will be sleeved!!! I can not wait. I hate being so short and carrying this extra weight.

So my doctors office told me that that sent my file I've to the Insuance company today. And it takes at least 2 weeks to hear back for an approve. The waiting game sucks!!! I would like to be sleeved in October not November but I will take what I get. I just hope I get approved I see people that get denied. ????

Hey everyone I just finished up with everything. The doctors office is just doing the last look though my file to double check. So I just hope I will get an approval and a date soon. I will be having my lap band removed and having the sleeve done. I have Emblem Health (HIP) in Nee York. I'm Just scared about the whole thing.

I only told a hand full of people. They know I have the lap band and that I am going to get it removed and that's all. Some do know that I will have the sleeve done at the same time. I just don't feel like telling people my personal information.

I work as a CNA and I only plan on taking three weeks off.

Thank you for that info. I am having it removed cause the band makes me sick. And when I eat I get sick. I finished all my doctor visits now it's the waiting game from the insurance company.
