Band to sleeve...gaining weight
I lost 100lbs with my band with 700 Cals a day and no stalls. I worked out 5-6 times per week. I lost the weight in 9 months. This time I've lost about 35lbs in about 2 1/2 months. I guess my body doesn't know about starvation. I lost 100lbs with my band with 700 Cals a day and no stalls. I worked out 5-6 times per week. I lost the weight in 9 months. Have had the sleeve since 8/10 and not eating much of anything. I've lost 3lbs with working out 5 times a week.

Band to sleeve...gaining weight
I feel better than with the band. Not throwing up (as much) but the gas does hurt.

I usually can eat half a sandwich. Or couple of eggs and a piece of toast. I can't eat a lot but I can drink a lot.

Band to sleeve...gaining weight
Not a lot of carbs. Maybe a piece of rye bread here or there. I drink two protein drinks a day and eat one meal, one snack. But I feel like I can eat/drink more than other ppl talk about.

Band to sleeve...gaining weight
Hi all I had my revision done aug 10. My first doctor's appointment after surgery (10 days later) I lost 14 pound. 5 weeks later (and solid foods), I've gained 5. I'm eating 1200 calories and exercising 5 times a week. How am I gaining?!?!? Just feeling frustrated. Wondering if any other revisionist are having difficulties in month one.

How do you get your protein
I know we all hate protein shakes by now but I drink at least one share a day. My premeire protein shake has 30 grams of protein so that helps a lot.

weight loss before revision
Caela. I had to lose 20 pounds before my surgery (doctors order, not insurance requirement) but I weighed a LOT more than you. If doctor wants you to get to 210lbs, and you do, you should reconsider surgery and do the weight loss naturally. My friend was around 220lb when she got the sleeve and her weight loss was soooo slow.

Any Band to Sleeve Success Stories Out There?!?
So far I am. I haven't had the throwing up issues I had with the band. The gas is horrible but when I walk or stand up it gets better.

Revision Surgery on Tuesday 8/11
I got the revised surgery (from band to sleeve) on 8-10. I'm able to get the liquid in but I'm so tired of broth. I tried eating some Refried mushy beans and IT HURT. I know I shouldn't have cheated but damn!

Any Band to Sleeve Success Stories Out There?!?
I had the band for 5 years. I lost 110 pounds and gained all of it back (due to my own bad eating). I noticed with the band, more ppl gain the weight back because you can still eat a lot if you can get it by that band. Recently (really recently as in just a month), I got sleeved. I've lost 40pounds. I've noticed you can't get a lot of food in period. I gave seen ppl who gained weight back with the sleeve but the percentage is low compared to the band. It's, once again, going to be determined by how you approach food. So far, I've noticed a different in the two in terms of food intake.
