Happy to see some bandsters posting. There is a lot of negative posting about band issues that I read .
I had my band surgery in late 2006. It has not always been an easy road, but I am so grateful to not regain 90% of what I lost. It took many years of adjustments. ....both in my head and in my band to come to a healthy way of living.
The key things I read from other long termers are Water, Protein, and exercise. I seem to have the best "fit" when my band is a bit loose.
I can eat salads and other fiberous foods that did not work when my band was tight.
I adjust my band about twice a year. Add some fluid... Then after months it seems to get too tight. Remove a bit of Fluid and live with it for awhile.. Til I get too hungry between meals. And regain about 5-7 lbs. then back to a fill. And so on
Some days are better than others. Sigh
But they are all better than lugging around 90 extra pounds⭐️

Hi Copper, shame is such a deep emotion and many (all?) of us here have used food to tamp that down. Know that you deserve all good things, that you are showing up for yourself -- you had the surgery, you had initial success, you are here in the forum. Next steps are the appointment with the surgeon to assess for fill and get back on track. I benefitted from seeing a therapist to sort out my triggers. Just knowing what I'm doing is a big step, even if sometimes I still do whatever it is, have that programmed response. So for me the thing is to change the programming. Addiction to soda pop is very common in this country. Diet sodas contain sucralose (Splenda) which in some people tell the rain food is coming. Other beverages have high fructose corn Syrup -- maybe there is something pharmacological going on that is causing a stumbling block. Best wishes -- you can do this thing, you will feel so good when you're back in your body in a healthy way. Let's live our lives fully.

Just a suggestion. I joined www.emeals.com and chose the low carb meal plan. Has saved dramatically on groceries and tons of fantastic meals. Very tasty and low carb.

Sounds to me like you're doing fantastic!!!! 17.5lbs in a couple of weeks is ALOT of weight to lose. I know it seems like if the scales aren't moving that you're not losing but that's not true. When the scale stops moving this is when your body is catching up to itself and while doing so is shredding inches. This is just the cycle of weight loss. When the scale is "stalled" the inches are coming off, which to me is the most important thing. Measure yourself in other ways beside the number on the scale, like how you clothes are fitting etc. Keep doing what you're doing and the weight has no choice but to come off! You're doing great!
