Denial advice
My bariatric center had a form for me to sign that they would handle any appeals. Ask your surgeon if they will contact the insurance company for you
-
Pre admissions testing?
Ask your surgeon There will be at least a blood and probably urine test

Easter... What the heck am I gonna do!?
I had the same issue with thanksgiving. I was sleevee in september and worried about thanksgiving foods. But i still enjoyed myself. The menu was not changed for me and most people there didnt know i was sleeved. I had a little bit of potatoes a small pieces of turkey and then latr a small piece of cake. It was great Some tips...have gum with you. Eat a little then pop some minty gum in your mouth. When you are done eating put your napkin on your plate.

Hey im in NJ too! You won't need much for the hospital they will give you everything you need. But i would recommend bringing some very loose comfy clothes for the ride home. A pillow for the ride home to preas against your tummmy...this helps if you hit any bumps. Bring some slip on shoes. This will help when you are walking...and make sure you walk

weight loss time span
In the beginning most people drop weight very fast. I was dropping more than a pound a day. For referrence my sleeve was sept 2nd and as of yesterday i have lost over 150 lbs
-
So nauseous
Well You said you're not measuring, not taking small bites, and eating fast. That's probably your answer right there. I know everyone's program is different but your program probably said to eat slowly, take small bites, and to chew chew chew your food. Why don't you try actually doing that and see if it helps
-
So nauseous
At only two weeks your eating solids and big bites?

Freaking out a little.....
To be honesy the liquid diet is tough. For me i didnt have pain but juat generally didnt feel well so for the first few days i had no problem just sipping my Water. Then because it was warm i was very thirsyy and the tiny sips were doing nothing to quench my thirst and it was hard not to gulp. I was also surprised at how much i missed chewing But now 6 months and 150 lbs later it was totally worth it. You can do it. Once you see the weigh t coming off you will be motivated. You can do it

Time off from work?
A lot depends on your recovery. Keep in mind that you might not have much pain but you will have ZERO energy. Walking from the couch to the bathroom made me need a nap. If you can, try to give yourself two weeks if you can but you could probably go back to a desk job after a week

to snack, or not to snack?
I think the problen is that we tend to associate snacks with unhealthy things like cookies or junk food. Snacks can be good healthy things too
