  1. I use the Flintstone with iron, natrol biotin fast dissolve, natrol b12 fast dissolve, nature's plus chewable iron, nature made fast dissolve d3. Please do yourself a favor and get the biotin! It helped my hair loss. Whenever I would stop taking it I would shed a stuffed animal. I get it all from Amazon.
  2. I really like the optimum nutrition double rich chocolate whey protein shake mix. I get it off Amazon. I have it with either almond milk out reg milk but I take enzymes with reg milk cuz I am lactose intolerant. I found enzymes really helped me out in the first few months. Our tummies can be kinda sensitive at first:)
  3. I had dreams of chocolate chip cookies for months. I don't even eat those. Not even tempting. So funny. I hit a stall on week three. Lasted a few weeks then it dropped like crazy.
  4. I have heard that crap more times than I can count since I had my surgery. Ignore the party poopers. They have no idea how hurtful and discouraging they sound. Idiots. Just know that you aren't going to let all that crap back into your diet and you won't be part of that club:)
  5. Wow! Glad you are ok!
  6. I still go through that and I had my surgery 3/14/14. Days that I workout hard I feel like I could eat a cow. But my weight is fine as long add I eat whenever I feel hungry. I drink a lot of water and shakes. I don't eat crappy carbs. Only sweet potatoes and a bit of rice and beans. I tried eating just small amounts of junk and it brings back all the cravings. So I took that stuff back out and I only eat stuff that keeps me stable. Cravings went away. Gotta stay on the straight and narrow!
  7. Yay! Congrats! You worked hard for it so enjoy it!
  8. Were you having trouble digesting meats? Was there a reason he put you on that diet?
  9. I was told in order to lose weight I had to up my protein. The easiest way was to drink more shakes. I used almond milk to keep the calories down. Be patient and keep your carbs low. Sounds like you are on your way! ????
  10. I agree with the article. Keep the crap out of your diet after surgery or you will regain. I am thankful for this "easy way out". It gave me my life back!
  11. I went through lots of plateaus. They stink! But they are temporary. Just stay on the plan your doc gave you. Congrats on losing the first 25! You are on your way!
  12. Yay! So excited for you! I got mine a year and a half ago. Best thing I ever did for myself.
  13. Are you taking vitamins?
  14. Wow! That looks painful. I bet it will look amazing once took heal up:)
  15. The waiting was the worst part! I was all smiles after surgery. Never had one regret. It will be here before you know it! ????
  16. Make sure you are taking your vitamins and drink drink drink! Keep a journal of everything. Write your foods, vitamins and water daily. That way if there is an issue you can look back and see if you aren't getting enough of something. It can be helpful for your doc as well if you have to see them for anything.
  17. GBlady I bet you will feel so much better after surgery. I had a lot of health issues prior to surgery and I was able to get many of them under control rather quickly afterwards. Good luck!!
  18. I am sure you haven't. Your body is having to adjust like crazy right now. Write down everything you eat and drink. I did and it helps a lot. But if you keep feeling off call your docs office and speak to a nurse. I have had to do it.
  19. My energy slump last a few weeks after surgery. Push through it! One day you will wake up feeling like the energizer bunny. It's weird but true. Make sure you are eating enough times throughout the day. I wrote down everything for the first month to make sure I ate, drank and took all my vitamins. I was too tired to remember much of anything.
  20. Those kind of comments are the best!!!! Thanks for sharing!
  21. I started doing Leslie Sansone videos after bypass. I love them. They are gentle on the joints. I have a bad back and I get a great workout from her walking videos. I highly recommend getting them off amazon. Way cheaper than in a store. Been doing them for a year and a half. Never get tired of them. I also do strengthening videos. Ballet beautiful is a great toning video!
  22. Did you happen to eat anything not on plan? Could it maybe be dumping? I hope not since you are not far along;). I hope you get it figured out. I am a year and a half out and if I eat too many carbs I get very faint and have hot cold flashes. But if I eat a strict low carb diet it never happens.
