  5. No hon not personal at all im a more open book than a library i have maryland physicians care currently i am using dr friesen with gbmc i dont know who accepts medicaid i think hopkins will.   12. im currently pre surgery but right now i am using syntrax nectar strawberry kiwi i get eas rtd from various places i get the carb control now it is only 17 grams of protein in the 11 ounces but very good. i like muscle milk as well and that one is specifically recommended by my program

I guess with my program I have care first blue shield and I've never had to pay more than 20 bucks to see a nutritionist like ever but I have diabetes so in Maryland I'm covered because they want you to get rid of the diabetes and now with my surgeons program I am only paying 10 to see the nut Sent from my SM-T380 using BariatricPal mobile app
  16. My docs don't have calorie requirements but for my program it is 70-100 grams of protein and 64oz of water or things like Crystal light and less than 50 grams of net carbs a day no drinking during or 30 minutes after meals Sent from my SM-T380 using BariatricPal mobile app

I think the first thing you should do is set up an appointment with your nutritionist get back to basics no drinking with meals protein first veggies you can have fruit if you are craving something sweet but this is a forever thing you had a rough start but you can do this ok. In my program the consultation happens at the beginning it starts with a group class where everyone meets the surgeon they give you a binder with information about your particular insurance the guidelines for the program some basic nutrition information and things like that. Then you are weighed your height is taken along with bp then you meet one on one with the surgeon where you discuss medical history and things like that they ask you what surgery you are interested in and in my case my surgeon gave me my goal weight Sent from my SM-T380 using BariatricPal mobile app
  22. I have care first and from seminar to surgery it will be approximately 8 months total. But I am ok with that because it gives me time to change what is going on between my ears along with how I interact with food at the same time Sent from my SM-T380 using BariatricPal mobile app
  23. I'm on the 6 month track but I am very short like 5'3.5 and have diabetes and sleep apnea. So good on you for getting your health in order.
