    Went to my frist follow up. Lost 20 lbs in 2 weeks. Now on full liquids for 2 weeks and normal food in 3 weeks. Although I exspected more less weight loss at least I am loosing. Due to the rain and hot weather here it hasn't been much time to get my walking in. I want to thank all the people here for all their advise and support. I was one of the lucky ones that had no complications before or after surgery. Onward I go with my journey.
  2. I am pne of the lucky ones. They kept me on pain meds the day of surgery. After they wore off I did fine. Little stiff walking at first but more disconfort than any real pain. Good luck..

  4. Hi Everyone, Surgery went very well. Had a lot less pain than with the lap band, Slowly getting up to speed in walking. Getting easier each day. Thanks for all your support and suggestion alone thw to my journey. God Bless You All

  6. Hello everyone... went into surgery yesterday. I am now home. Since the 3rd of this month to now I have lost 22 lbs. Doctor took me off all meds except two Diabetic pills. He said within a short time I should be off them too. Question he told me to stop my vitems untill I see him on the 28th but I have heard from several pople to stay on them. Any input about this??? Thanks

  12. Having mine done this Friday. I can truly relate. But like CnnonBaby I am a diabetic and I am doing this for me and my family. Looking to get off my meds and move on with a healthly life style and seeing my grandkids go to college and see how they grow with me in their lives.
