Jesusislove got a reaction from 2BThinAlways in 6 Weeks Post Op, Stall, Inches Lost, Onderland
Hi, everyone. I have been stuck on 205 for about two weeks. I wasnt worried, because I read about stalls. My inches are dramatic though, I look smaller than the weight. I got on the scale this morning, 198, I am in onderland. I tried the gym last week and was sore than sore itself. This week I will try agin, proabably not basketball or racquet ball with the kids though. I am fitting 12s, was in sizes 14w/16 depending on how they were made. One thing I noticed was that once I was able to eat more the weight started to come off, I eat about 800-900 calories. I am feeling great. I will try to add a picture.

Alaskan Cod Fish is about the only fish I have found that is palettable and I bought 25 lbs on Friday and have begun to introduce it to my family...Husband and boy are loving it we eat it once a week now. The daughter she prefers to eat the sides during that evenings dinner, as we do not allow making of 2 dinners to accomodate one person who does not "like" what we are having.

Jesusislove got a reaction from Leederz in My Nsv
I am eating healthier and I only desire good carbs and high Protein foods. This is a great improvement for me, because protein was not my thing prior to surgery. Also, I had family visit yesterday, and they questioned me about my age, they wanted to be sure, I said 42. They said you look really good, I looking even younger since surgery. Loving my sleeve, can eat but just enough, feels good.

I don't count calories, but I do count Protein. I've found I have to track my food intake to make sure I am eating enough protein.
For low cal drinks, I like Sobe Water (the zero calorie kind), Propel (also the 0 calorie kind) and I have tried some low-cal Hot Drinks like spiced apple cider (10 calories) and diet hot chocolate (25 cals).
For low cal drinks with protein, I love the BariWise Fruit Drinks especially the Peach Mango flavor. These offer 15 grams of protein and have 60 to 70 calories depending on the flavor. I also love the Bariwise strawberry banana shake, which is 100 calories and 15 grams or protein. It tastes like a yummy shake and even has bits of real strawberries in it.

I love Sobe Fuji Apple and Pear. It's really good. Also, I'm 5 weeks out and yes I do count calories. My surgeon told me last week that he wants me to eat at least 1000 calories a day to speed up my weight loss.

Man I can't wait to be there! I'm a very slow loser and and a year and a half out and am still 40 lbs away from my goal of 128 lbs. You look BEAUTIFUL!!!! Cracks me up though, total proof of vanity sizing - as bad ass as 137 pounds is, there is no WAY it should be a size 2! 130 lbs in high school (mid-late 90's) had me in a size 8! I'm currently 167 lbs and I wriggled into a size 6 pencil skirt, whaaaa?! =P

Jesusislove got a reaction from Allie ALii in Isopure Zero Carb Drinks
I had sugery on 2/27 and it is hard for me to drink milk based Protein Shakes right now. I bought 2 bottles of Isopure the blue one, and it taste good. Not anything extravagant., but it goes down without burning or hurting.

Jesusislove got a reaction from amber1974 in Protein Is Such A Pain!
Haven't had surgery yet, but I love the EAS whey Protein Shakes. I add one teaspoon of low fat Peanut Butter, delicious, and its full of Protein, skim milk and ice. I can't taste the protein. 2 scoops is 46grams, and then 8 grams from the peanut butter pretty much low cal. Just delicious. Carbs are low on the peanut butter and protien powder. I add some cocoa to it to make it more chocolaty, the real cocoa(low carb, low cal), not already made ones. Getting myself ready to drink fluids and protein shakes.< /p>

No, not so much really. I really haven't changed much from 350lbs with the vanity thing. I haven't changed my hair, nor do i wear makeup, don't shop for new clothes (use my daughters clothes that don't fit her anymore) haven't changed really. . . I am very grateful for the surgery and the incredible results (150 lbs gone) and i'm REALLY happy with all the things I can do which I couldn't do before, ie: ride horses, sit comfortably in a plane seat, cross my legs, bound up a flight of stairs without thinking I need an oxygen tank! etc. . . .I still hate picture taking though, don't do that much. One day. . .

Jesusislove got a reaction from pussnboots in Sleeved On 2/27, Two Days Post Op
I am two days post op and doing good. Pain in the incision area, but overall not too much. Lapband revision to a gastirc sleeve, glad the lap band is gone. Directed by doc to start full liquids at home, but I am not ready. Clear fluids going down real good. I will stick with that for a couple more days. Sleeved at Fort Jackson. To God be the glory I came out alright. Also, thanks for all the replies and comments, I was truly prepared for most things. Appreciate you all!

I too have always been just one of the guys. You have to be true and honorable to yourself. It can be an odd adjustment to the attention, but if its too much for you or it isn't the correct attention a man should be paying to a married woman, you need to speak up. Please don't disrespect your husband or yourself by keeping silent about it.

Jesusislove got a reaction from gingersnap in Tricare Prime Gastric Sleeve Surgery Coverage Progress
FYI Fort Jackson does the band, easy process if you are revising from band to sleeve, only have to see a NUT and Pre-op, upper GI, and Endo. Scheduled already for surgery.
