  1. I'm still taking Prilosec, I'm 3 weeks out, and I'm experiencing reflux. Is this normal?
  2. As a healthy young person you are less likely to have surgery-related complications (other than malabsorption). At least that's what I was told by the doctors who did my clearances. I am 25 and just had roux en y I think I made a great choice. I bounced back really quickly too, only 3 weeks out!

Roux en y. I think it was the tuna salad I ate. I am 2 weeks out.

I admit I ate my lunch a little fast and maybe a bit too much. But why am I still in pain 4 hours later? :-(
  6. Hey ladies- good to see some fellow twenty something's making this work! I'm going in for my surgery day after tomorrow. Very nervous. As for the plateau thing...I have heard when that happens it can be helpful to go back on the liquid diet for two weeks. Might be worth a try? I done a crazy amount of reading to prepare for all of this. Anyway...hoping to find some people here I can talk to about the surgery. I'm afriad I'm going to be an emotional mess afterwards.
