13 and 1/2 pounds lighter and feeling good! Went to wally world last night and got some different healthy food so I won't get bored with the same old stuff. Tried Kashi cereal for the first time, mixed it with nonfat yogurt and blueberries and I like it alot-I figure it is a great way to start off the day. Clothes are feeling looser, so that is exciting.

I was beginning to get depressed about my weight loss slowing down so much, but now I am just fine with it, lol. I started this journey wearing size 34 jeans, not waist size, mind you, but as in humongously fat, disgusting size 34 jeans. I tried on a pair of jeans this morning that are size 20-and MY GOD THEY FIT!!!!!!!! They are tight, but they fit and that is so awesome. Started doing a bit more exercise, but seriously finding time to do this is getting harder and harder and it is not an excuse-I need some time to myself and I don't want to get up even earlier than 5 a.m. or go to bed between 10 and 11 at night like I am doing now. I am feeling quite happy, in e3 months to go down that many sizes, patting myself on the back.

Ok, tomorrow is the last day of this liquid diet-thank goodness! I am so sick of diet jello and broth. Not quite 2 weeks post-op and I am down 66 pounds, so that is a good feeling. I have had absolutely no pain that I would associate with the surgery, lots of gas, but that was expected. Am wanting to get back into exercising, and swimming more, need to tighten up some of this skin.

Got on the scales this morning-have lost 55 pounds! This liquid diet is at least helping with that, but geez, it sucks. And I have at least 3 weeks to go-that is a highly depressing thought. I do ok until I am fixing supper or putting the food on the plates for the kids-then it is real hard for me. Hopefully, the first week on liquids is the worst. Have not cheated at all, but Sunday night I think I could have eaten the whole roast. Have to quit swimming for awhile, worried that it might be contributing to my UTI.

Hot Damn! I am so hyped-made my first goal of losing 50 pounds before I get banded. Was beginning to get a tad worried because I was at a standstill of some sort, but it happened. Doing extremely well on my liquid diet, not even tempted to eat real food.

Yesterday marks 2 months on my new life way of eating and I have lost 46 pounds. Kathy took me out and bought me 3 new pair of jeans, size 26-down from size 34. Still huge, but not as huge, lol. Feels good to wear clothes that fit, and no damn suspenders. 2 and a half weeks before my surgery, I am so hyped!

Grand total so far of 40 1/2 pounds. Starting to go slower now, but that is expected-main thing is that I am losing. I feel better with just this amount of weight gone, cannot imagine how I will feel when I reach my goal.

Got on the scales today and am now at 280 even, and as huge as that is, it is quite a ways from where I started-38.6 pounds lost so far, and now I only weigh twice what I want to, lol. So only a mere 140 pounds to go-geez that is a scary number to put into type, but it is a reality. Exercising more is what is going to help, I have the eating thing down to a science.

Today is 5 weeks into my new life-have not been doing all the exercise I need, but will get back on track. I have lost 34 1/2 pounds, so about 1/5th of the total weight I need to lose-not bad for 5 weeks! I am doing quite well about not thinking about food 24/7 and I am not usually over hungry-I feel in very good control for now.

Today marks one month down and 31 pounds lost. I am so proud of myself and am feeling even more motivated to keep going. I have 6 and 1/2 weeks to go before surgery, so my goal of losing 50 pounds is looking like a piece of cake at this point. Have decided not to change my goal, just look at every extra pound as a bonus. Got the mess with the new doctor and different hospital all straightened out, so everything is going great.

Wow, today marks 3 weeks that I have been making wise choices in my eating habits-and I am now down 24 pounds! Almost halfway to my before surgery goal of losing 50 pounds. Very exciting and I am now trying to bike 10 miles a day.

Yesterday marked 2 weeks of my new life eating habits and I have worked very hard at it and it shows!!! 18 pounds lost! HOTDAMN! A half pound to go and I will be out of the 300's for the first time in a real long time and I will never be back there again. The support I am getting from family and friends is phenomenol and I feel very good and am proud of myself-I have lost a tenth of the weight I need to lose to reach my goal. YES!

One week down and a lifetime to go! I weighed myself this morning and have lost 11 1/2 pounds in one week, YESSS! I am feeling good today, but last night was very bad, had the worst time ever not stuffing everything in my mouth that I could find. I am upset that the urges were so strong, I thought the worst times would have been the first 3 or 4 days. Anyway, I made it through and I guess that is what matters. Riding my bike and have started sit-ups, but not doing well with those yet.

5th day-I weighed myself and have lost 9 pounds since Tuesday!! I know people will say it is water weight, but it is not-I am drinking at least a gallon of water a day. It is because I am totally controlling what I eat and how much. And also, with someone as fat as I, the weight usually comes off fast in the beginning. I am feeling good, ready to start my day!

3rd day! Tomorrow I will weigh and see how I am doing so far-I know I am eating very healthy and am aware of every single thing that goes into my mouth, so I will have lost some anyway. I am thankful I had carrots/celery around last night because I was definitely having a tough time, but pulled through and I know it is going to get harder-I will win this fight. I am totally surprised at how almost all food has carbs! Geez, sure makes it tough to keep the carb count down! Got the green light for the surgery last night and bought the plane tickets!! YES!!!!

Ok, Made it through the first day without any big problems, but, as expected, had a tough time in the evening. I have also decided I am going go try to get more sleep, I cannot even imagine what my sleep deficit is, but if I am asleep, I can't eat, lol. And getting a good exercise bike too, so no excuses not to get off this fat ass and move! Wasn't grumpy with anyone yet:clap2:

Today I started my new lifetime eating habits-much more protein, much less carbohydrate, NO more mindless eating. I am 5'6" and weigh a shocking 318.6. My surgery date is in late March, but at the nurse's suggestion am going ahead with the pre-op diet now. It is for a lifetime, so no time like the present. The hardest time will be in the evening and at night, daytime is not a problem. I have a good support system and I will win this fight. I will not weigh every day, but probably every 3rd day or so, to help with motivation. I am not so much worried about not sticking to the diet as I am worried about being a total bitch for the next couple of weeks to everyone I love. Pray for me!
