  1. How have your labs been? Which patches are you using?
  2. I had a family vacation 3 weeks post op. Plane ride was fine. Finding soft foods and foods that agreed with me was a little tough. I think a few months post op and you will be fine. Just make sure to bring your protein powder, bars, etc with you!
  3. Yes, I live in south Florida! I do not own any other shoes besides my sneakers. lol.
  4. It's the best feeling! I just posted that it was my NSV!
  5. What an inspiration! Congrats!
  6. I get my Fairlife Skim at Target (I am jn Florida though).
  7. Hi all. I was sleeved 9/16! So happy to see everyone doing well! Congrats to everyone! I'm doing well, sticking to the plan and still learning as I go! Best thing I have ever done for myself.
  8. 8oz of Fairlife skim milk (13 g of protein) with 4oz of Trader Joes Cold Brew concentrate over ice with a little stevia!
  9. I actually said to my husband,I wonder if some of my old eating fast habits are coming back and I'm not even noticing that I am doing it. I definitely have to be more aware and chew chew chew! I just haven't had this feeling/ vomiting until now. I would have thought it would have happened earlier on.
  10. Hello all. I am about 3.5 months post op and more recently I have been getting pain/pressure feeling after eating a few bites (grilled chicken, turkey burger patty, these types of things). I get this pressure feeling and then become very nauseous. I have vomited, and this mucous/ white foam stuff comes up. Anyone else experience this? Why all of the sudden my sleeve is not liking any of these foods?
  11. T25 Work out videos! 25 min a day in the comfort of your own home
  12. Great job!! Love your hair, super cute!
  13. Keep smiling!! You look beautiful!
  14. Hi, are they in the water isle or with juices?
  15. Amazing job!! You look great!
  16. I can easily make appointments with the nutritionist in the same office. Everyone else has been great, nurses, staff etc. I guess the surgeons are just too busy to bother with follow ups. Before surgery it was explained to me that I could make appointments with the nut anytime I needed it and that I would see the surgeon at 1 week, 3 month, 6 month etc. but it was not disclosed that he only came in one day a week for one hour. It really does seem insane. Looks like the best route would be to see my PC, thanks for the suggestion. Thanks everyone!
  17. Not do to the holidays, I was calling ahead of time to schedule in January. That is the day, the only day he does follow ups. It's simply ridiculous.
  18. So I just called to schedule my 3 month follow up with my surgeon and the ONLY day/time he sees follow up is Thursday's at 11am. That is my option, my only option. If I want to see the other surgeon he is available Thursday's from 11-2p. I'm sorry but WTF!! I am in the healthcare field and have absolutely no way of taking off on a Thursday, especially in the middle of the day. I am upset right now that there is no option for me to follow up. My surgery was covered by insurance but I paid a "clinic fee" that was to cover a year of post of care. What a crock of crap!! Sorry, vent over.
  19. Inner surfer girl, I definitely should do measurements. Haven't taken them since 1 week post op, I am now 3 months post op! Thanks for the reminder. I definitely feel better and have been losing consistently. This is my first stall. Its just hard when you eat right, follow the plan and don't see the scale move! But the scale is not everything!! Learning so much as I go!
  20. Still embracing....3 weeks later!! How is it possible that you can weigh exactly the same, I mean down to the decimal for 3 weeks in a row. I only weigh once a week and I'm trying not to fret. But if I get on the scale next week and it's exactly the same, I'm going to start to wonder! Maybe the new year will break the cycle!!
  21. FairLife milk!! 13g of protein per 8oz serving!
  22. I'm at 2.5 months post op and feeling the same way. I feel some sort of release as if food had a hold on me. Quite interesting, I am taking it all in and learning as I go!
  23. 12 lbs in 3 weeks sounds awesome! That's average of 4lbs a week. I'm 2 months post op and have consistently been losing 3lbs a week. I have yet to hit any type of stall (knock on wood). I just think everyone is different. Maybe some people loose fast but than stall and then maybe some loose slow, but are more steady.
  24. Thanks! Will try from desktop!
