I did five push ups.
Haha after I had my first child I tried doing one and fell right on my face haha I haven't tried again. It sounds like you did them right. When you keep your body straight it hurt your stomach also. Its like doing a plank.

Hair loss
I use them on my hair after I bleached it a lot (my hair used to be bright red) and it made a world of difference. Also a cheap alternative is organic unrefined coconut oil. I've used that a lot and works well also. You can find that in the baking isle at WalMart.

Hair loss
I wear my hair up A LOT because of work and because my hair is super thick and long and it gets hot during the summer. My moms is the same way but she is now going bald on the sides of her head from her pulling it back all these years. I think putting pressure on your hair would help it come out more than stay in...its like pulling your hair vs not touching it....if u pull your hair some is gonna come out, if u dont..it won't. Brushing stimulates your hair follicles and actually helps your hair. You can use Vitamins, oils, etc to help also. Just don't be ripping a brush through knotted tangled hair. Make sure its DRY and knot free. Its never good to brush wet hair. Your hair shaft fills with Water and makes it stretchy and when you brush it, it causes it to snap and break. A lot of people have said Biotin helps, some have taken it and it hasn't made a difference. I'd take what u can and if u need too you can always use a hair wrap/scarf if your having a "screw it" kind of day ????

Do "lightweights" tend to hit goal?
Excellent question! I have 80-100lbs to lose myself & most is in my tummy as well. I feel like I'm pregnant when I'm not & its even hurting my back.

gained 6 pounds!?!?!
Maybe! It upset me quite a bit though because I'm not eating anywhere near as much as I was before. I eat breakfast and then have grapes for my break and then come home and have a small dinner. I'm so wore out in not hungry.

gained 6 pounds!?!?!
Idk. I obviously have more fat than muscle so wouldn't I still go down? I was 226 now I'm 231. I think I'm allergic to sweat and exercise... ????????????????

I started a new job Monday in a factory. I stand on my feet and run around like a wild chicken for 10 1/2 hours a day. Since I've started I've gained six pounds!!! I'm sweating my ass off in there (no air conditioning..no stools...) how in the heck could I gain six pounds?? I drink A LOT of crystal light to keep me hydrated...so maybe water weight? I mean I sweat so much my shirts are soaked in the back (EW I know lol)

Thinking of changing surgeons
I honestly think it panned out extremely well and her email seemed sincere. I'd stay if all goes well and they can actually show that they DO care about your case.

Thinking of changing surgeons
First off I would change the second "apparently". Take it out. Its used back to back. I'd change it to "She obviously couldn't wait to finish my 10-minute appt...etc." second, id look into others before jumping the gun. Call the insurance also. Get all your medical files from them and the NUT to prove all your tests, etc. Take them with you to your new surgeon. She sounds like an ass and she just wants ur money.

I wait tables, how long till I can go back to work?
Its medical leave, required by a surgeon. They cant fire you as long as you provide all the necessary paperwork from your surgeon. I just started a new job and I was worried as well till I did some research.

Day 1 back home... What to eat?
Week 3, 4, & 5 are pureed for me. Yogurt, mashed potatoes, pudding, scrambled eggs etc.

Day 1 back home... What to eat?
My book says the same week 1 & 2 are liquids, such as, clear liquids and full liquids (crystle light, protein shakes, skim milk, low fat cream soups etc)

I wait tables, how long till I can go back to work?
I was curious to this myself. I work in a factory and stand for 10 1/2 hours straight. We also aren't allowed to have drinks etc out in the shop, how am I suppose to stay hydrated and get my liquids in? ????

Surgeons recommendation in the East Coast
I'd def "shop around". I've actually heard from one lady on here that she is self pay and its a hell of a lot cheaper to get the surgery done in Mexico (GREAT surgeons there according to a lot of peeps on here) and the money you save can go towards your air fair etc.

they took all my blood...and saved it for a snack!

they took all my blood...and saved it for a snack!
@@valerie1982 I have no idea...i know the ones they wrapped in tinfoil were to check my vitamins. But the surgeons office gave me about 7 pieces of paper stapled together and each paper had 4 tests on it so about 28 things. All I know is they took 15 big tubes of blood. Each office is different though.

So tired of people saying you dont need surgery!
I know how you feel which is why I've only told 3 people. Today when I went for my EKG the nurse asked if I've had this done before. I said no ma'am. She then asked if this was for some kind of pre op. I said yes ma'am for Dr asad. She then asked what surgery and there it was, "well youre not gonna do THAT are you?!? You're no bigger than me!" so the whole time she was asking me questions and giving me the stink eye and attitude. Lets just say I stopped calling her ma'am after five minutes of being there ????
-
they took all my blood...and saved it for a snack!
Well I got all my pre op testing (minus the EGD) done today ???? did my xrays, sonogram, EKG, and blood work done. Now usually when I know I'm having blood work done I stay hydrated so my veins are open, I had to fast for 12 hours so I was a little worried id be poked and proded....then knowing I had about 23 tests to run I was wondering exactly how many tubes of blood they were gonna take. So I'm sitting there looking like im about to rob the joint im so nervous and then its my turn. I go back and sit there. She puts the blue tourniquet on my arm and then there it is. The lie. The lie they call a "small poke". She puts that sucker in my arm and starts taking all of my blood lol. 15 tubes later im done and realize she's wrapping two in tin foil? I said are we saving those for a snack later or? She laughed and explained about the light and the vitamins in our blood ???? today wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. I hope its the same outcome for surgery ???? plus I got a sticker ???? lol ❤

Which Exercises?
Weight train, stay hydrated, keep your protein up, use a good moisturizer, and exfoliate your skin.
-
If you haven't had surgery yet what are you most afraid of?
I'm scared i won't wake up and my kids will be motherless. I'm scared I'm gonna do this to feel better physically AND mentally and it won't work. That ill lose weight but I still wont be happy cuz ill have saggy skin and no butt or boobs so I just flipped my insecurities to a different part of my body that I cant fix cuz I dont have money for PS. that ill go through all this and fail somehow. That ill be unhappy cuz I wont be able to love food anymore. I'm scared ill be in excruciating pain when I wake up. I'm scared ill go bald.

this makes no sense.
@@Beck90 LOL I know how you feel!!! All of this is consuming my brain and I'm sure I'm over thinking a lot of it but I cant help it. I'm trying to figure all this out before hand.
