I did five push ups.

I havnt had my surgery yet that's next months but I've been running and eating better. Well I wanted to try and tone myself up as much as possible before surgrey and I did five push ups and my abs are so sore I can barely get up out of the chair. My muscle above my breast are sore too. I thought push ups only toned your arms..... I was wrong!! Is it supposed to tone your stomach too or did I do them wrong? I did man push ups by the way.

Haha after I had my first child I tried doing one and fell right on my face haha I haven't tried again. It sounds like you did them right. When you keep your body straight it hurt your stomach also. Its like doing a plank.
