  1. I was approved within 2 days. If you don't count the weekend. Mine was submitted to my insurance company late Thursday afternoon and I got the call on Monday saying I was approved. But I had spoken to my insurance company a few times dearing my swl visits and same with the girls in my doctors office. So once my insurance received all of my stuff they knew my case.
  2. My surgery date is coming up October 2nd and my TOM should be the same day. Does anyone have any suggestion that I can prepare for?
  3. Today I received my approval from my insurance company (it took only 3 days to get my approval) and my surgery date is next Friday October 2, 2015. I am so excited. Is there anyone else out there with an upcoming surgery date? If so let's take this journey together. I will be sure to take before and after pictures along the way.
  4. I had to do the same thing and my primary doctor put me on an insulin shot and I lost 12lbs in 5days
  5. I am only planning to take the day of surgery off and maybe the following Monday and Tuesday and return to work on Wednesday.
  6. I have finished all my appointment my doctor advised me to get a sleep study done. I completed that last Friday now I am waiting for the results to see if I will get approved by my insurance. If I do get approve I hope to have surgery by the end of September early October. I have my fingers crossed hoping I get approved.
  7. Journey insider, yes I am worried I will not get approved if I don't have sleep apnea due to my BMI being low.
  8. I have completed everything and now my doctor wants me to have a sleep study done. I am nervous because if I don't have sleep apnea I might not get approved for surgery and I am upset.
  9. For anyone trying to lose 10lbs I would ask your primary care physician if he could put you on insulin (saxenda). You want the dose for weight loss. I lost 11lbs in one week.
  10. I take Xpel for water pills you can get it at GNC. My doctor put me on insulin shots I am not diabetic but it's one for weight loss it's called saxenda. I started it on Wednesday and I have lost 6 lbs already, 4 more lbs to go by Wednesday for last SWL. I know I'll get the weight off now.
  11. What is dieters tea and where can I get it 5lbs left to lose by Wednesday.
  12. I like quest the Vanilla milkshake is my favorite.
  13. Contrave did not work for me. It would make me sick and I actually put on weight from use it.

  15. I have been taking water pills and laxatives and nothing seems to be working. This is the first time I have every experience this kind on of problem. Normally it isn't hard for me to take 10 lbs off but for some reason it is now and I am getting very depressed and upset. I hope I don't get denied by my insurance company if don't lose the weight because it's 10 more lbs than my initial weigh in.
  16. I drink a ton of water. My carb intake is less than 20 per day and I exercise like crazy. I guess I should start running. I do use the fitness pal app
  17. My last SWL appointment is August 27 and need to lose 10lbs anyone have any suggestion on how I can get the 10lbs off? I drink two protein shakes per day and walk around 20k steps per day.
  18. I used quest protein shake the vanilla flavor (22g of protein less than 1 gram of sugar) and add PB2 powdered peanut butter.
