Contrave?

My doctor wants to prescribe me Contrave (Bupropion and naltrexone) to help me with food cravings and compulsive eating. He's worried I'll hurt myself after the band trying to binge eat the foods I crave. Does anyone have any experience with this drug and can I take it after the surgery? If it helps, it'll be a big relief for my postop dietary compliance.

I was prescribed it by my endo. The more I read on it, the more freaked out I got so my full bottle is sitting in my cabinet. There are other appetite suppression meds and even supplements that can help that are a lot safer.
