I have completed everything and now my doctor wants me to have a sleep study done. I am nervous because if I don't have sleep apnea I might not get approved for surgery and I am upset.

If you don't have sleep apnea? That doesn't make any sense. You would actually be better off not to have it.

I just got diagnosed, as my surgeon asked that I have one done. I have thought I had it because of what happened in 2008, while they operated n me. They were finished & I started to wake, but could not breathe. I ended up on oxygen for a couple days, I think...maybe 1.5 days.

I got my machine a couple of days ago & the 1st nite was amazing. I woke up rested in what felt hadn't happen in a long long time...& it probably was true. Last nite I didn't do so well due possibly to my straps being too tight.

If you don't have it that's better...if you do, they will ask u to bring your CPAP with u so that they can put it on u while u r in the recovery room.

Are you thinking that you won't get approved if you don't have sleep apnea because your BMI is to low to be approved without co-morbidities ?

Journey insider, yes I am worried I will not get approved if I don't have sleep apnea due to my BMI being low.

the best result you can recieve is the diagnosis because having one comoribity will help your case tremendously
