I've been overweight all of my life, with the usual ups and downs over the years. My doctor casually mentioned lapband to me a few years ago but I wanted nothing to do with it. Then someone from my work had the sleeve surgery, and I started becoming more open to the idea of weight loss surgery. I researched it a great deal, and concluded the RNY Gastric bypass was the right surgery for me. I have diabetes, sleep apnea and a wicked sweet tooth. I know this new tool will be so helpful. I'm looking forward to feeling so much better, moving better, and enjoying life more--at age 61!
