  19. Thats incredible weight loss SIPSGrammy. Really happy for your success.
  20. Thank you shortycool,Gratifying to know that a question asked so long ago could help someone later. By the way, I ended up getting the sadi-s ds and am two weeks postop. Still early yet but so far very happy with my decision.

  22. I was thinking maybe magnesium, but never thought about dehydration. Sigh. So much drinking, and none of it exciting! Yuppers, I'm here on the loser's bench. It only took 3 tries, but as they say, three's a charm!!Leebick, it's lack of magnesium. I had the exact issue. If you can tolerate it pop a 250mg magnesium every day. Felt relief after first day and problem gone by day three.
  23. Sounds delicious! I'm going to try this. Thanks for sharing. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App You can use the vanilla or the chocolate Premeire too but the Caramel the best if you can find it.
  24. I started making changes to the way I ate 6 months before my surgery but I made small changes over time not in one big swoop. I also allowed myself designated cheat days so as not to be overwhelmed. I lost 65 lbs before my surgery.
  25. I am now 12 days post op and unable to start pureed foods until 2 weeks out. Thank god I am close because I am so ready for something resembling real food. I heard all the time that I will not experience real hunger during this time. I must be the first because I have definately experienced hunger several times during these last 12 days and it was very real. For me eating things that are warm and savory helps a little. I mix Unjury chicken flavor protein with broth and even strained creamy soups.
  26. I also have major issues with protein shakes etc. If you like coffee at all try this, it is the only thing I have found that is not just tolerable but kinda good. 1 Caramel Premeire protien shake 1 single pack nescafe hazelnut instant coffee Some crushed ice Almost like it came straight from your favorite coffee shop.
  27. This is a very important message. I hope everyone who has had or will have wls reads this post. Thank you for sharing this ????
  28. I find all protein shakes disgusting. I use genepro and love it. I can put it in just about anything, food, drinks, hot, cold...except milk based products but that's just personal taste preference. It will make clear drinks look cloudy but if you closed your eyes I bet you could barely tell it's in there. I am STILL pre-op so I cannot attest to blood work but I have read multiple posts in which others have said that their blood work is great while using it and several doctors are now recommending it to their patients. I THINK the science behind the 30g protein in 15g product is that they claim to put it through a process that takes out everything in whey but the pure protein itself.
  29. @@klwcm, Please google bariatricfacts.org. This forum has a lot of DSer's. If anyone can help you its them. Good luck!
  30. Thank you for being so thorough in your answers. I really appreciate the info and advice. I am a somewhat obsessive compulsive personality and once I commit I am tenascious so I think I am a good cadidate for DS. There are a few things about this surgery that concern me but that goes for all available WLS. And I kbow that this one gives me the very best chance of losing ALL the weight and mosy importantly keeping that weight off. I saw you PM. I am going to check this forum out. Thank you for the direction.
  31. OutsideMatchInside you are a master. Mad respect.
