I use Prime a few times per week and have totally gotten spoiled by them! We're planning to offer similar prices and services. We'll most likely offer free 2-3 day shipping.

My Dr also suggests up to 6weeks. But I would think it depends on the job you have and how well you are recovering. I personally will take the full 6 weeks using my STD. (Short term disability)

It's really hard. I have made it 30 days I had to quit or the surgery is off. My surgeon tests you the morning of surgery and will NOT operate if you have smoked. I quit before my paperwork was submitted to insurance telling myself I wanted the surgery more than I wanted the cigarettes. The first 5 days were awful. I have gotten to the point that the smell of them makes me nauseous. However, I have gained 10-15 lbs since I quit. My surgery are is July 20. Worth everyday I have been smoke free.

Just finished listening to it on Audible last night and found it to be very informative and so helpful in making a decision to move forward with the referral, which was done this week. I would recommend it for anyone even remotely interested in weight loss surgery. Even if the outcome for you is not surgery, there is still so much to learn that can be applied to anyone trying to improve their health status surrounding obesity.

tstarkey704 reacted to lauraellen80 in Any advice for "itchy" incisions?
This may sound weird, but... try gently "tapping" on them instead of scratching. It's a trick people use with new tattoos that are healing. Helps relieve some of the itch without doing damage.

Finally after thinking I'm starving to death for the last 3 weeks I went to the doctors today everything was great incisions are great blood pressure's down no more acid reflux. I've been approved to start exercising and I get to eat mush I have never been so excited to eat much. So I did have mush for lunch and it was absolutely delicious grilled chicken with butternut squash in the blender with chicken broth. I finally believe after all these years, that I found something that will work for me. I am beyond excited and happy I've lost 50 pounds since February my first weigh in with the nutritionist, so the doctor says I'm on a good road and he's very happy with my progress. That is all just wanted to share my exciting stay story.
