  5. I used Chantix to quit 84 days ago The only side effect I had was very vivid dreams. They were so surreal but after waking up I didn't remember them. Good luck! Did Chantix make cigarettes taste bad to you, or just reduce your urge to smoke? I've gotten mixed reviews from friends.It reduced my urge to want to smoke. I started taking it on a Sunday and by Thursday I was barely smoking at all. If you can get past the vivid dreams you will do fine.

  8. I quit smoking using Chantix!! ???? I have been ???????? for 80 days. I smoked the first week and after that I didn't want them. My daughter has a vape with 0 nicotine that I may puff every blue moon just because I like the way the smoke has a cool feeling on my face. (Weird huh) You can do it, there are plenty of options that are out there these days to assist you. Good luck ????????
  9. You won't remember any of it???? Once they give you the sedative and you wake up you will be back in the recovery room.
  10. Endoscopy done ???? They found a hernia that will be repaired during surgery!
  11. I am doing my at home study tonight. I hope all goes well because I am not one to sleep on my back and they advised they get a better reading that way ????????????

  16. PREOP FRIEND HERE: @shuttergirl829 I just received the approval for my at home sleep study. I have my endoscopy on 8/21 and my final required weigh in on 8/27.

  18. My Dr also suggests up to 6weeks. But I would think it depends on the job you have and how well you are recovering. I personally will take the full 6 weeks using my STD. (Short term disability)

  21. What is laser? Have you tried the patch or Chantix?
  22. I also used Chantix to quit smoking almost 3 mos ago. I found that ice chips (the little ones) and really cold Water seemed to help me. If I had a major urge to I would just move around until that urge was gone. I also kept my hands busy so I didn't think about reaching for that ????. There is a Quit Smoking app called Livestrong that I use as well Hope this helps Good luck!

  24. Oh gosh!! ???? how are you trying to quit? I have heard most surgeons won't do the procedure if you haven't quit for at least 6 weeks prior to surgery.
