I had the sleeve on 6/6. Was supposed to stay one night, but ended up staying three due to a small complication. My esophagus swelled up and I was having trouble getting liquids down and gas out. Very painful, and I was also having dry heaves. They did a swallow study the day after my surgery and found the problem. Treatment was simple with steroids, but my surgeon wanted to be sure I was well past the vomiting and pain before sending me home. I've been doing fine since then.

Instead of blaming him for screwing up why not share what happened with him and see what he thinks? It sounds like you may need information before you start playing the blame game.
By the way, what is your goal? I assume it is to be healthy and lose weight. Will blasting your surgeon for his perceived error without more information get you closer to your goal?

Not sure of the number since I am staying off the scale. But, wanted to share surgery day and today.

So what's the deal, are straws bad to use or not? My diet plan called for me to utilize a straw when consuming the Protein Shake. Also, what's up with diet sodas, bad or not?
Also, would a Michelob Ultra from a cup be bad, when the times right that is?

Ok yall here's an update.
I got my letter and they said they needed all the info on my previous failed lapband. It took some digging because the lapband I had was in 2008 removed in 2011. I did not even mention the band starting this process so not sure why they need all the info. They Arnt doing a revision so I didn't thunk it would be a big deal. They also said I gained one pound during my nut visits program which I did but it was during Thanksgiving and I lost the pound plus 6 more the next visit.
Grr. So any who my doc resubmitted all my paperwork for the 3rd time now so please throw up a prayer and good thoughts. I'm trying not to lose hope. Hugs to you all
