that's awesome! I'm a carbaholic, so my body is probably like wtheck? at the moment. lol!!! I can't tell a difference or anything, it's probably Water weight - but still nice to see the number on the scale go down

I should preface this post with the fact that I gained quite a few pounds in the past few weeks - stupid I know, but what's done is done. Day 3 of my low carb pre-op diet & I'm down 5 pounds! Tested my urine last night & had trace ketones so I'm hoping my energy will come back soon! And bring my good attitude with it! lol

I haven't tried the unflavored unjury yet, but the strawberry was good and the chicken soup flavor was good - I would think you could mix that in all sorts of stuff. I wasn't crazy about the chocolate, but being a chocolate snob none of the shakes taste good to me *sniff sniff* lol!!

Bless you honey! I am low carbing right now and I could eat a truckload of cupcakes. I mean a TRUCK. LOAD. Lol! I am going to be a handful when I get to this stage. My husband cooked spaghetti with yeast dinner rolls for dinner - I had to leave the kitchen. I am not even kidding. I wanted to cry! I went outside & jumped in the pool and went for a swim. My only advice is distraction. And maybe try adding ice to the Protein Shakes so it feels like a milkshake??

I just don't tend to do well with anesthesia or pain meds. Everything makes me puke. I am so dreading that! Hoping what they give me won't make me puke up my toenails. I've gone from 175 to 182! I told them I would pack on the pounds once i stopped diet pills... This is my main reason for choosing the surgery. It's amazing how fast the weigh comes on and how slow it comes off. That should be against some rule somewhere!

Did you have it rechecked? There are certain meds that can cause it to be elevated.

Are you post op pre op or what?? I've seen some recipes on Pinterest for variants of lasagna without the pasta... But the sauce is prob loaded with carbs ????

How high is your PTT? I don't want to alarm you but they should definitely address this prior to surgery.

In addition to the shoe suggestion, try adding Epsom salt to a hot bath and soak. Great for strained and sore muscles!

I know it must be frustrating that you haven't lost as quickly as you would like, but having said that, 44 lbs is a small child!!! Just remember that! You're doing great, hang in there!

I can't wait!!! This big ole tummy is growling like crazy today... *sigh* I'm ready to get this show on the road!
