Day 3 Diet

I should preface this post with the fact that I gained quite a few pounds in the past few weeks - stupid I know, but what's done is done.

Day 3 of my low carb pre-op diet & I'm down 5 pounds! Tested my urine last night & had trace ketones so I'm hoping my energy will come back soon! And bring my good attitude with it! lol

I had actually been dieting and exercising for over a month, pretty hard-core, prior to starting my pre-op diet. I lost 12.6 pounds between 7/7/14 and 8/18/14, but STILL lost 8.6 pounds during the first week of my pre-op liquid diet. Second week of my pre-op diet I only lost 2.2 pounds though.
