  1. Good job! I don't think it's coming off too fast. The only problem you might run into is your gallbladder, but I think that's a problem we ALL might run into ???????? Congrats!
  2. Have you tried something for reflux?
  3. I saw someone on YouTube suggest G2. She said that afterwards she just kept feeling nauseated until she did that, she felt like she needed something... Of course I can't offer you medical advice! What about reflux? Could that be the culprit? I'd be taking some meds, I hate being nauseated!
  4. Wishing you a speedy recovery
  5. I haven't been sleeved yet but it sounds like you have really been put through the ringer! Hope they get things straightened out soon for you
  6. How did your surgery go with Dr. Ortiz? I have been researching him in case my insurance does pay then I will use him. Did you like him? Did they treat you well? Hope all is well Camille I'm scheduled for July 28th. I haven't had it yet
  7. I've had a tummy tuck with muscle repair, and let me just say - it ain't for sissies!! Would I do it again? Yes! Absolutely! My highest weight was 240 when I was pregnant. I lost to 150 & got a mommy makeover. You will have 2 drains for 2 weeks after. The muscle cramps are very painful and last quite a while... For me, I was still having small cramps about 3 months post op. I went back to work a week after, which was STUPID!! I would say 2-3 weeks would be ideal if you have that much time to take.
  8. I just went & got an Atkins bar before I killed somebody. That was the best dang thing I've had in a week! LOL!
  9. I guess my whole thing is... I don't want to live my life without ever tasting a piece of cake again! That might sound nuts but dang! I just hope I can control it better once I get sleeved...
  10. So I'm done with week one of my pre-op Atkins diet & down 6 pounds. I wish I could say I was excited and happy and thrilled, but I'm just not. I'm pissed and I want some cake. LOL!!! (Guess this is how I got here, huh?) I think it's mostly head hunger at this point. I LOVE LOVE LOVE sweets. I'd much rather have a cookie than a steak. My son told me last night "Mom please have a cookie, I think you'd be a lot happier" LOL!!!! Bless his heart. I want something sweet SO BAD. I did a chocolate Protein shake yesterday with ice & added a tbsp of Peanut Butter, that did it for a little bit... I'm a bit surprised at how much sweets I ate! I think I ate more sweets & junk than regular food. I've often skipped lunch for a candy bar, I'm ashamed to say Any suggestions? Other than "suck it up buttercup" lol! What did you all eat to curb a serious sweet tooth?
  11. OMG I just about fell out of my chair laughing!!!!
  12. Well... I just had my *ahem* monthly visitor arrive... If I can start low carb through PMS I can do anything! Lol!
  13. Bless your heart. I hope you feel better soon, I hate you're feeling so bad!!! Sounds like misery!
  14. I already talked with them... They said they give you zofran at the hospital, but I'm not sure if they continue it when you get to the hotel. It has a dissolving tablet form (zofran ODT) that I plan on bringing! Plus Gas X. Ha!
  15. That's it - I'm bringing my own Zofran! Lol!
  16. I am so dreading the nausea, I will be a terrible person to deal with! Have you tried the Gas X strips? Are they giving you Zofran?
  17. Bless your heart... I haven't had surgery yet, but I would imagine this is SO HARD!!! I am dreading it. I think it's very normal. Good luck to you... may the days be short and mushies come quickly!
  18. I've seen a few of hers, I like her. and 1 gorgeous godzilla! Off to see some of these others, thanks y'all!
  19. Did you do samples? I haven't checked them out yet, but hoping to order a sample first... Nah, I just went ahead and ordered a bag. I've seen such positive reviews on here, I figure surely I can use it at some point! ????
  20. I've seen a few YouTube vids & was wondering if you guys have any favorites?
