@Sanstan But telling ppl you are eating "smaller portions" and "high Protein, low carbs" is...MISLEADING, CUNNING, CRAFTY, SLY, SHADY. Ouch... Some of us here (ME INCLUDED) are MISLEADING, CUNNING, CRAFTY, SLY, SHADY. Whoda thought it !!! Watch out, falling from that high horse will hurt you one day. Last word on the matter.

I'd definitely see your nutritionist and discuss your diet. Do you note down everything you have, calories, protein, carbs etc etc ?

Can it really be this easy?
@@LEW12 Try adding a little no added sugar apple juice to water. It really helped me. Worth a try anyway

Can it really be this easy?
I feel the same. I am two weeks out now and apart from the first 3 days, I have been able to get in all my Water and Protein. I use MyFitnessPal every day and today my protein was 110, carbs 16 and calories 510. I had my first pureed meal tonight, 2oz of chicken with no issues whatsoever. Only moan is about the injections I had to do twice a day at home. I hated doing them but in the scheme of things it was nothing!

Outside of being healthy, what are you looking forward to most...
Just one of the many --- I want to go sub aqua diving with my husband. Last year, in Egypt, my hubby went on a 5 day diving refresher course and he wanted me to go to do a beginners course but I wouldn't telling him, "Breathing underwater isn't natural so I'd never do it". I admitted to him a few nights ago that I had fibbed and was desperate to try it next year when it won't take 10 men to squeeze me into a wet suit like it would have last year ! I can't wait

Coworker outed me
@@jas84047 said : My answer has always been "smaller portions and hard work". It's not a lie... it's just as much of the truth I planned to tell most people. Can you explain why you stated that the answer jas gives is a lie and deceptive?

@@BrownEyedTxGirl How are you feeling today ?

I think I've developed an irrational phobia about taking my dr prescribed medication....
I take Ramapril for high blood pressure and just break open the capsule and either mix it in a shake or a little yogurt. If you are on capsules maybe you can do the same but check with your GP first. As for as the cholesterol pill you could also speak to your GP to see if you can have it in liquid form for 3 months? If not see if it can be ground down without changing the composition of the medication. I know some can't be ground down but worth asking. Good luck!
