What's your morning routine?
I have a 24oz bottle of cordial (mainly water with a touch of sugar free juice) whilst driving to work. Usually after an hour or so I have a 24oz protein latte and that often sees me through to lunch. With the latte it's a double bonus of fluid and 15g of protein.

Why is coffee bad for us ?
It's best to follow your surgeons advice but I was told that it can increase acid in the stomach and be a contributing factor to having a higher risk of getting an ulcer

Great feeling isn't it... Well done- pre-surgery nerves 4 days out
@@Craig Wildi What a fantastic New Years present to yourself It’s normal to be nervous before the surgery, I think we all go through the questioning in our heads. Is this right for me? Will it be painful? How am I going to cope with so little food in the first few months? And on and on. However we all get through it and I can honestly say that it’s been one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. Believe in yourself and your inner strength, you CAN do it. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!- I miss chewing... Any suggestions

147.8 thanks !- Purees?
Two weeks of liquids then 2 weeks of pureed. So many variations of this!!- And so it begins....
Congratulations at making such a good start with your weight loss. That's amazing. I agree that the liver diet is a good way to kick start this, I know I was glad that I did it as it got me into the frame of mind I needed after the surgery. Keep us updated on how things are going for you.- Back to work. How soon?
Congrats on the surgery! I was off work for four weeks and should have really stayed off six. I do have a stressful job which involves being in and out of the car a few times a day but I didn't really think I would be so exhausted even in week four. I have a feeling if I had had a desk job I would have been as tired. Be careful with yourself, it's very early days. When I have my tummy tuck etc I am having six weeks off!!- I made it....
Congratulations !! .. each day will be better than the day before. Best wishes for a speedy recovery- Old ways of thinking
