  1. Congratulations on the weight loss and marriage. Great news on both ?
  2. Have you tried tramadol ?
  3. I was 54 when I had my surgery... no issues whatsoever. It will add years and happiness to your life. Kate ?
  4. Try eating until you feel satisfied rather than full and this will help a lot. If it is a stomach bug just stick to fluids rather than eating. The food can wait another day. Really hope you feel better soon! Kate ?
  5. I’m sorry to hear you feel so sick... maybe a call to your team would put your mind at rest. Hope you feel better soon x Kate
  6. Mine hurt like hell when I lost the weight but I don’t really notice it now. Maybe I have just got used to it. Congratulations on the weight loss !

  11. So when our surgeons tell us not to do a, b and c as we might split our healing stomach. when they tell us not to forget to drink 68oz of water per day we may I end up very ill and back in hospital they are just bullies? Glad you cleared that up ? Shakes head.
  12. I had an extended breast lift.. it took away the horrible excess skin which the breast used to ‘run into’. Congrats on the fantastic weight loss !

  17. We all make mistakes so don’t beat yourself up. Love the attitude of 'tomorrow is a new day' …… so we’ll done and good for you!
  18. I still don’t have hunger but I know when I need to eat. It’s a strange feeling for sure and hard to explain. Never felt hungry after the surgery and don’t now, I’m not complaining!
  19. Wow.. you have certainly been through the wringer. Sending you great wishes for 2018 ?
  20. I took four weeks off and wish I’d had the six which was recommended. I was so knackered but then I’d done 18 days of pre op protein drinks then had the surgery and stuck to the surgeons plan of liquids for three weeks, then purée for two etc etc. So no wonder I was exhausted.
  21. I tried all sorts and nothing worked until I tried Dulcolax. Hope you feel better soon ?
  22. I wasn’t allowed fruit for 3 months and then only smooth fruits and nothing with seeds in until 6 months. The only fruits I have now, at my stage are blackberries, strawberries and blueberries. I stay away from most others as they are too high in sugar and carbs for me.
  23. Inspirational... Congratulations!!!
  24. As the others said, it can be such an individual thing and can depend on a lot of things such as gender, height, frame, how much you exercise etc etc, what you eat and your metabolism. i don’t have a working thyroid so I have to really watch my calories and probably on the low side just to maintain. Life. Sometimes. Sucks. Lol.
