I've got mine a week ago. It doesn't really bother me. I lost 6 lbs last week and my appetite is the same. Different strokes for different folks.

Sleeved on 5/18. I am down 60# so things are going good. Made it to Onederland in August so that is my big achievement.
One thing I have noticed is that I can easily get in 900 calories now. I actually find it surprising since I don't think I am eating that different from July. ????. Got to work on the exercise more though. ????

Sleeved on May 26, down 48 pounds as of this weekend. Just took out a bunch of clothes from the "doesn't fit" closet and put it in my official closet! A few pairs of pants are still a teeny weeny bit tight in the tummy, but a week or two should fix that. It's such an amazing feeling to bring out the clothes I saved but haven't actually worn in years!

First don't beat yourself up about it. We all fall short from glory every now and then. The key is not to over indulge in it. Try to find alternatives, I like Quest Protein chips, it took some getting use to but now their great. I eat pure Protein Bars too, great for that sweet toothe. We just have to switch it up a little bit to continue on the healthy side of life. Trust I have had a snack or 2 lol even a meal or 2 off track but I just don't over do it and get back on track.

If getting on the scale every day has the ability to ruin your whole day and cause you to obsess about just the numbers: Bad
If you can get on the scale every day and understand that fluctuations and stalls are a normal part of the whole process: Good

Agree with others have said above, cut the carbs, try going without the bread or crackers higher Protein will keep you full longer. .
I personally put myself on a timed eating schedule and don't allow myself to snake in between. I eat every 3 1/2-4 hours and drink Water in between, so i never give myself the opportunity to get too hungry and want to graze. Typical work day for me.
    8am-Protien shake
12:30- Hard boiled egg or lunch meat or left over Protein from night before, today i packed 3 good sized baked shrimp.
5pm-chicken stir fry/ steak and mushrooms/ pork chop and zucchini/ chicken fingers or fish sticks (guilty pleasure, 1 maybe 2 times a month)
9pm- I like to munch on Pork rinds, or if i feel i had enough protein that day i make some popcorn (my Carb guilty pleasure)
I am no expert, I am going on 6 months post and am now down 97 lbs. I am very happy with my results and am sticking to this eating plan for as long as it works.
    Good luck!

So after 22 months, losing 155 pounds, reaching my "dream goal" weight of 125 pounds and healing from my Tummy Tuck and panniculectomy, I took some before/after pics that I feel really embody the new me. It's been such an amazing journey, and I can honestly say that the change has been from the inside out, thanks to some hard emotional work with my therapist, dealing with the "eating issues" that really were not about food at all.
This journey has been absolutely amazing, and while the recovery from the TT was WAY harder than I expected, I wouldn't change any of it for the world. I Think my journey is complete now for the most part. I am waiting on insurance approval for an arm lift, and I was told I would hear by the end of June, so that is the only other thing that could possible make me feel any better physically.
And now that my TT is mostly healed (though i'll be sore for several more months) I'm back to running now, which emotionally makes me feel so much more grounded. It is my meditation.
Anyway....I just thought I would post this here for anyone coming on the "success stories" board to see if the surgery is right for them or could help them. I can tell you that for me, it has provided me the opportunity to make some changes I wasn't able to make before and I'm way happy with the results!
So here are my almost 2-year post op (post TT) before and after pics.

I literally only have 4 shirts that fit and 1 pair of pants. I had my baby 7 weeks before wls. I am already older (37) and I want to be around for her. I also don't want her to be embarrassed of me. I am down 90 pounds in total and 54 since day of surgery. Only 55 more to go until goal (I am almost 3 months out ). Last week I was able to buy button down shirts that were not plus sized. So exciting

I can't wait to hit that 100 mark as well but I have a long way to go I was sleeved 5/29 and I'm down 41lbs sometimes I see the difference and sometimes I don't but I'm not discouraged at all. I have been overweight my entire life and like just about everyone else I hate going out I still don't like going to the mall. I just want to get down and stay down. The little bit of self confidence I do have has risen up but I'm still to myself and trying to work on myself. Being a single parent and working full time can be a bit overwhelming at times but coming to these forums really brightens my day and gives me hope.

Great post! Now here is mine. Mine isn't much of a personal one, but more on the lines of health. In May of 2013 I had to have lung surgery where they were forced to removed half of my right lung. Because of my weight, 222, things had to be done differently than that of someone healthy. I was required to give the hospital a copy of my living will and will, or surgery would not be performed. I had to be put on the bypass machine during surgery because of my weight and the complications that could cause. While in Icu for days, my doctor continued to remind my husband and I that it would be a longer road to recovery for me because of my weight. Embarrassing to keep having to hear it. But he had to say it. He was right. It took me one full year to recover. May 2014, one year after surgery, I decided it's time to do something. Had my sleeve done the end of September 2014 and I am now down 75 pounds. With only 7 more to go until goal. I am healthier now than I have been in so many years.

    That really touched me Jenkbacon
I really don't use the scale much but using milestones I thought I was doing good, but seeing your success since January clenched it for me, my surgery was on June 10th, but because I almost hit 400lbs last year( I was in a deep depression on my mom's one year anniversary of her death, she was my last living family member) I got down to 388lbs by January 25th or so, so from that day to the first office visit in April to the 10 day pre op til today, I have lost over 72lbs and 9 waist sizes, so I guess m doing something right lol, you are doing great keep it up, I had given myself til Christmas to break the 299lb barrier, but my wife said she noticed that at this rate I may hit that goal by September, October, keep us up to date.......
