@@whisper43 I wanted to wear high boots that zipped. I did! I wanted to go white Water rafting in Colorado. I did! I wanted to wear a small prom dress since I never go to in high school (pregnant) and I put on a size 8 today only in the dressing room with my teen daughter but still counts! Next...well I don't have a plan for anything as of now, I'm just taking the blessings as they come.

I may be 54, but I love theme parks! I live in southern CA, and as cliched as it might sound, I want to go to Disneyland! And... California Adventures, Six Flags, and every other park out there! I want to ride every single ride they have too.
I'd also love to go to the Grand Canyon and white Water rafting.

I jog/walk in the pool. Get you some good supportive Water shoes. I have Tevas. It's much easier on your knees and feet, but you get the same benefits. I do aquafit 5 -6 days a week and them do the jog/walk 30 minutes after. I have a waterproof iPod shuffle that I can download music and audiobooks on. It helps pass the time.

I walk/jog a 5k (3.1 miles) 6 days a week and on my rest day I walk 1 mile. My weight loss has been consistent and I haven't had any stalls since starting my walking. I have been stalling in adding strength training. I use Nike + dot com app it works on Android and Apple. If anyone wants to friend me on the app my name is Josette Aqui. I also use Garmin Express with a Vivo Fit. It tracks my steps and sleep and is a pretty decent device.

Just know this is just my opinion. Are you kidding, you have no obligations to these insurance companies, they are the biggest ripoffs out there. You need to do what is best for you and your monetary status and health status. You, or the job pays the premiums, that's what matter, You are not cheating anyone. If it is best to drop your insurance, then just do it, believe me you are just a number to them, they do not know who you are and they don't care. Do what;s best for you and your husband.

This has been my only method of exercise for over a month now. I walk/jog alternate everyday 3 miles and so far I have seen a continuous weight loss of roughly 3 lbs a week or more. I have a treadmill but enjoy getting out and walking in the mornings. On Monday I injured my knee and have been out of commission it hurts cause I want to lose all this excess weight without delays and set backs. Any who, best wishes on your future jogs in the morning.

Call your doctor. It may just be gas. You may need to take something on a regular basis for a while. I needed 40 mgs of omeprazole (generic prilosec) daily from months 3 - 6.

As I stated, too high for me. Never said anything about you.
Again said you were entitled but made a suggestion to help others not so inclined to research.
Just stating facts not trying to be rude, seems you are a bit defensive and if I hurt your sensitivities I am sorry.
I still stand by my statement that 375 as you say, 400 as I added is to much for one shake.< /p>
A 12 oz McDonalds vanilla shake is :
    Calories 520 Total Fat 17g 26% Carbs 80g 27% Protein 12g Sodium 260mg 11%
So other than the obvious nutrient differences, the calories are not really all that much of a savings or bang for the buck so to speak.
    Just keeping it real!

Per my surgeon my goal at 4 months post op with exercise is to get to 900 calories per day. Per my nutritionist, same office, she is not a fan of subtracting Fiber for net carbs so I don't.
I am exactly where I need to be. As I said, for me, I don't want a 400 calorie shake. I drink one I make ever morning and it is only 175 calories. You quoted 50 g of Protein and it doesn't add up, also the body cannot absorb more than 30g at a time.
Just be careful what you quote as fact here as some don't do the research and will just eat/drink what someone says. We have a responsibility to be accurate as well as supportive.
You are always entitled to your opinion but when you posted your "shake", include the macros up front.

Please tell them how you feel because it makes concentrating on your healthy eating stressful. It is a form of sabotage and future failure. Ask them not to do it because as I have heard so many times before this is a Marathon not a race.
