Im glad I found this thread. Had the sleeve 3+ years ago. Initially lost 80 lbs. Then the pain started. Multiple ER visits before I had my gallbladder removed. Not much help. Constant nausea, pain and heartburn. Ended up back in the hospital from what they called "liver stones". Liver panels back to normal, but still constant pain, nausea, and heartburn. Rx meds prescribed, doubled, and still not much help despite adding Tums and an over the counter antacid to my max dose Protonix. I finally got to the point of wishing I had never had the Sleeve done. I've gained back everything lost. Eat mostly simple carbs and small meals throughout the day. No salad or veggie's for me as they cause pain and vomiting. I think I gave up and some of my old eating habits (sugar) are as bad as before. Just had the pH and motility studies two weeks ago. Gastro called to tell me he is referring me to surgeon. I'm apprehensive about a sleeve to bypass revision. The thought of rearranging things bothers me...quite a bit. Hoping for some wise words, encouragement, or advice. Now I'm anxious and that just makes everything worse.
