  1. Does snyone know a doctor in Beaumont, Texas that will fill even if another doctor preformed the surgery? I can't find a doctor to fill my band because I had it done in Houston and I don't want to drive that far. I really need the help finding one.
  2. What do you do when you develop a pouch above your band? I had an unfill of about 1/2 cc and now I have no restriction. I have gained 10 lbs in about 2 months. Doc won't fill back until pouch is gone? What do you do?????
  3. I am so glad that someone else is letting people know about this problem. I am experiencing this same problem. I have been contimplating going back for a check up because I can't eat in the mornings till about 2pm and then I can eat more in the afternoons and I have had my band for almost 2 years and in the last 3 months I haven't lost anything. I pb almost everyday. My last fill was probably about august of last year. When you eat at night you feel like you might need a fill but when you get up the next morning and you can't eat anything or drink anything you know you don't. I would love to know what you do and what the doc says. Please let me know. I am within 20 lbs of my goal weight and I don't want to screw anything up. thanks. E-mail me at j.d.burch@sbcglobal.net
  4. That's so cool....I might know him believe me if he lives here I probably know him because my husband has lived here all his life and graduated here. I have lived here for 20 years. Maybe if you come see him we can meet in person....
  5. I guess I am what you would call the veteran of the group....I was banded in June of 06. I was banded in Houston but I live in Brookeland, Tx. That's just above Jasper, on the Lake. Lake Sam Rayburn. I can say this much as a vet, it's the best thing I have ever done for myself other than my breast reduction. I have lost 91 lbs but I have hit my platue. I have started to workout more but still not helping. Well, just wanted to meet everyone from this area. Nice to talk to someone that is close. Good luck and happy 2008.
  6. I have been banded a year and half and I still eat to much or eat too fast. I PB almost everyday. It is hard to learn to eat smaller and chew more.
  7. weighing 167 and haven't been there since my wedding 20 years ago and lovin it. Just can't seem to lose the last 22 lbs. But hey, better than I was a year and a half ago.
