When you are in a restaurant with friends, family or coworkers as everyone orders full course meals. You get a stare and gaze (very strange look and a silent pause) from your party including the waitress or waiter for ordering a small cup of Soup or a kids meal.

I am scheduled for June 8th and my emotions too have been all over the place. It really became real to me on Friday after I had the IVC filter procedure. Wishing all sleeves the best and a speedy recovery.

Hello. I am scheduled for June 8th. I had my last office visit with the surgeon on yesterday. It was so much information to take in I started feeling overwhelmed. The process for me went really quick and smooth. I have prayed and I am very comfortable with the decision I have made. I wish everyone success.

I started my pre-op diet on Monday. It is not bad at all...my only problem was headaches. On yesterday the surgeon told me to increase my Protein. I will see how I get through today. Other than that I am not hungry and I do not have the desire eat solid foods. I will say that chewing gum has helped. Praying for all.

Listerine is your friend. It's nasty but it works. Gargle with it, use the pocket spray, suck on the breath strips.
NOTHING tastes good after a healthy dose of it so it will kill your cravings for sure.
